I know I’m about to make some enemies here but I thought this movie was godawful, I never saw this movie in theaters but I’ve heard nothing but praise for it for a long time and so I finally sat down to watch it and I thought it was dreadful

The best thing about it is definitely Michelle Yeoh, I think she’s amazing in this movie, she has such a relatable personality and her reactions to all of this insanity feel 100% real, I also thought Ke Huy Quan was really entertaining too, he did great playing a duel roll as 2 different versions of himself and the interactions between the 2 of them are great, and while I did not like this movie I actually like the overall message of it, it’s a very interesting one and offers a lot of questions in terms of existentialism

But other than that this movie just felt like nothing to me, basically everything else in it was just nothing but random nonsense, they go to all of these different timelines where one after another you just see a bunch of randomness with no real rhyme or reason to it, which at first I thought was amusing but after like 15 more minutes of it it quickly grew tiresome and I just became bored and annoyed by it, I’m not even kidding when I say that I almost fell asleep during this movie, then I find out that this is from the same people who made Swiss Army Man, and I’m not kidding when I say this, Swiss Army Man is 1 of the 3 worst movies I’ve ever seen in my life, and so I guess it’s pretty obvious that this surreal randomness way of filmmaking is just not for me

I’m sorry to disappoint you all but I could not stand this movie, this didn’t even really feel like a real movie to me, it felt like a fake movie that would get released in theaters for 2 days as a big April Fools joke, I know with some movies you have to be able to surrender to the madness to be able to enjoy it but I just couldn’t do it with this movie, Michelle Yeoh was awesome and the movie did have a really nice message but it felt like nothing but random nonsense, the movie felt torturously long and I’m astonished that a trainwreck like this managed to impress so many people. 1/10

Weird, I absolutely hated it. So of course it got so much praise and so many awards. It was a hot mess, and I’ve seen this done better in Sens8, Spiderman, and Dirk Gently.

Sick film

I couldn’t watch this movie at all, it was horrible omg I tried 4 times to get through first half hour and movie made no sense to me

I started this movie on a plane a year ago … I fell asleep.
Just rewatched it in completion today… did anyone else cry ??? 😂 geez that movie was amazing… definitely one of my favorite movies ever

Watched this movie with my mom, and it ended in a sob fest.

I’m a 33 year old 6’4” 260 pound man…. I was balling my eyes out at the end of this movie. It is AMAZING.

this comment section is so jaded. EEAAO was a terrible "movie"... even someone who reviews movies for a living cannot explain what this movies PLOT is about.... I could not watch it and tried twice, ended up drifting off both times. nothing to hold onto nothing makes sens. the story makes convoluted seem concise for the sake of it! just NO

It is a fantastic deep funny action-packed movie that shouldn't work but it does and works very fricking well! A masterpiece of entertainment.

I tried salvia 😂

I was not expecting the husband to be the real “hero” of the story. I love how it showed a male say “loving others is strength, not a weakness” such a powerful message. It teaches men that loving others is “manly” thing.

I also loved the mother and daughter relationship. Many daughters can relate in having a mother who is cold and judgmental. All the daughter wanted was for her mom to love and enjoy who she was as a person.

It was a cringey film, and i don't trust your review anymore. If you want to see great film, i recommend mitchells vs the machines.

I’ve seen hundreds of films from across the entire history of filmmaking and this is the greatest one I’ve yet seen.

About two thirds through, I was not on it's side. Sure, the cinematography was amazing, and the acting was excellent, but the ideas weren't working for me. But by the end, it really became something fantastic. It's one of those things where you just gotta stick with it, in my opinion.

I think most of the other universe comments would be about how much you are trying to be Keanu Reeves with the haircut and beard. But for sure, see this movie.

This movie is the only reason I watched the Oscars this year. I haven't watched the Oscar's in 7 years.

Spoiler*** Idk why but I was crying during the initial rock scene. That scene was a piece of art, and then when she chased her as a rock was so funny yet so beautiful hahahaha

My Introduction to Film class in college finished this movie today, and when everything came together towards the end about nihilism and the movie's themes in regards to that...man, that was moving. I've been in some tough times myself fairly recently, so the whole time Evelyn was trying to resist the bagel, it was almost like I was staring down something I could have believed. The philosophical parts of this movie were simply AMAZING. Also, I didn't like the hot dog fingers either. It grossed me out too.

Saw this after all the hype and dust has settled. Had no idea what it was about and goddamn what an experience. Would love to watch this in theaters! Made me cry, made me laugh and made me care about everything and about nothing, all at once.

Reviews on this movie is either haute or love it, not finding much in between!

To me, this film is taking some Jackie Chan films, Turning Red and Buckaroo Banzai and a lot of nods to many films, Kubrick especially, and mashed it all together.

It was was away too long, but enjoyable. Love Jamie Lee, but don't think she deserved an Oscar.

The writing was so bad for this movie, I have no idea how it could earn an "Aweseomtacular" rating. It's a visual feast, and that's it.

This movie sucked. Hollywood doesn’t understand comedy anymore. It was original, sure, but still really, really stupid.

Everything Everywhere All at Once is incredibly weird, but the whole cast is really good, especially Short Round from Indiana Jones and it’s fun to watch.

Is it just me, but I thought this movie was a piece of crap!!
Seriously, it was hard to follow. Made no sense. Actions scenes were good but nothing we haven't seen before.
My wife couldn't even watch it after 30 mins. I persisted, but would like that 120mins of my life back!!
It was a B-grade or even C-grade movie!! Just didn't get it at all!!

Can’t imagine hating something so unique and original. If you don’t enjoy it that’s fine, but when all I ever hear is “there’s nothing original in movies anymore” BOOM. Here ya go. Just a weird, wild and touching ride. Brilliant performances.

I think people believe it makes them cool to say they liked this movie. Because let's be real, it was a big mess and I ain't talking about the deliberately confusing multiverse stuff...
