I'd like to see this test run with Ublock origin installed
Ответитьwhat about brave?
ОтветитьGreat video. But I will stick to Firefox
ОтветитьI'm Brave user just curious how this two perform.
ОтветитьI wonder how some of the other, still common browsers fare like Opera, and then some other junk browsers which are known to be unsafe because they're built on outdated browsers or are just malicious like Yandex, Baidu, etc. Safari would've been an interesting test had Apple still done a Windows version. It's also bad for the web how many browsers are now just forks of Chromium. Firefox also has that warning of "This file is not commonly downloaded"
ОтветитьYou should add the Brave and Tor browsers and you should include EEF's Cover Your Tracks test.
ОтветитьWhat about brave?
ОтветитьMicrosoft edge browsers company easy access sale information every where and see email and track where and 100 percent and fire fox best
ОтветитьCan you do brave Vs edge ? :)
Ответитьi remember a while ago i tried a tool called beef which host a website with ssl certificate, this website contains malicious js code and then it take over your browser and can see almost everything and had a lot of tool. anyway i remember chrome and firefox blocked the website immediately but ms Edge didnt identify this website as a threat and the malicious software worked (dont worry i tested it on vm)
Ответитьabout about you disable the windows smartscreen than the real % will show
ОтветитьGuardio is not free
Program.
Cause even Microsoft edge did not see this coming hahahahahah!
ОтветитьI am surprised by these results, as a lifelong Firefox user i am happy to see that it holds up and also surprised how strong Edge is. Great video and a note i will stick to Firefox.
Ответитьdo brave next
Ответить1 Antivirus software has something to say about the whole thing.
2 Firefox has addons against malware, while Chrome and Edge make money with your private information and want to prevent anti-malware addons.
3 The whole thing seems to be sponsored nonsense because he deliberately avoids going into depth.
4 He accepts these pointless ratings even though he can see that it's just a warning and not a block.
5 Don't trust anyone on the internet without seeing their resume and bank account.
How about Brave?
ОтветитьWith edge, it isn't necessarily perfect at detecting malware as your test concludes. It blocked every executable file that it didn't detect as malicious simply because it was an executable. I think for all of the browsers, it'd be worth going through all of the downloads that have a warning of anything except than "this file is dangerous" and accepting it to be downloaded, before scanning for successful downloads. This would be more fair for Chrome and Firefox in your results, and would also more accurately represent how they behave with malware scanning.
ОтветитьI use brave
ОтветитьYeah, chrome and edge just warned about any exe or bat by default. Its a good default. But it's not detection of malware. Its just crying wolf at any potential.
ОтветитьI'd love to see you test opera/opera gx aswell.
Ответить2023/04→ They were 🛠Many Years in⏳ Getting a Browser to Serve "They Voted✌ with Bar Applications:📲WhatApp,Telegram, Tiktok, GMail, GDriver, Yahoo Mail, FaceBook, Add Huge List Networks Application &💻By the Way Ñapa= Powerful ✍AI Bing 👉Microsoft Edge Version 113 Higher (More+Strange&Good 💗Linux Is Faster⏱Q For Windows " 🗺Hard to Believe But True)
ОтветитьIts funny, edge blocks the most malware, but I also find it to be the worst offender of Microsoft security scam popups.
Ответитьbros ram sticks are gonna burn
ОтветитьMost secure browser is Brave 🗿
Ответитьawful test methodology, insanely limited scope to your programming skills. how to destroy all domain credibility in one video
Ответить"Even Edge did not see this comming"
hahahahha. Poor edge
As you said, this just used public blacklists so it only says which browsers blacklists are being updated more frequently, this test makes no sense.
ОтветитьEven if firefox and chrome only detected 50%, nobody want to use edge... lol
Ответитьtime to switch to edge :>
ОтветитьBrave?
ОтветитьChrome and Edge suck they're so damn slow and buggy. Firefox is the best.
ОтветитьWhat about Brave?
ОтветитьI would like to see this test on Opera/OperaGX and Safari
ОтветитьWhat about Vivaldi? Is it good?
ОтветитьI've been in tech over 30 years and I use Edge under strict setting. Haven't had any issues, including memory bloat like Chrome, for a couple years and I recommend Edge to clients
Ответитьwhere are opera and brave?
Ответитьedge has come a long way
ОтветитьA point for Edge, Edges keeps getting better and better, that's why I use it
ОтветитьHow about OperaGX?
ОтветитьIf it blocks it from being downloaded, even if you have the option to override, it did get detected and blocked by the browser, I feel it is fine to include it in the block rate calculation.
Ответитьwould it be more secure to run a browser in a container to limit any potential damage? or would that remove the AV protection you would otherwise have on your machine?
ОтветитьWell I use Edge cuz It works fine
ОтветитьWould love to have this test be preformed on a Mac on safari :)
ОтветитьNot surprised firefox for worse. For years they were insanely vunerable to 'takeover' ads where they'd use infinite modal popups to lock the entire browser, while Chrome made them trivial to avoid. If they can't even roll out a patch for that kind of issue, I've no faith in the more difficult to solve issues.
ОтветитьEdge is the best by far and you can turn off the spyware.
ОтветитьI'll stick with Firefox, thanks.
