So many people are saying that 2023 is a bad year for games… really? While I might not like a few games on this list, it is impossible to deny that there have been some amazing games this year. Roll on 2924.

Starfield is the most 'okay' game released this year. It's good but does nothing that makes it stand out. I've enjoyed it for like 30 hours but haven't touched it for months now.

Even the tiniest clip from Horizon Forbidden West makes me want to play it again. So good. And while I’m here, I’m enjoying Starfield a great deal. It is what it is, and I like what it is.

Dead Island 2 is a definite pick up for me. Some real bangers here.

No denying that Bethesda can’t make a good game to save their lives these days after the Fallout 76 disaster, and now the mundane and buggy Starfield. Developers like Larian and Atlus have left Bethesda in the dust.
