VB Audio Cable Installation and Use Guide 2019

I used to have Line 1 Virtual Audio Cable when I clicked on sound to select playback device. Then it disappeared. I am trying to play sound on my ViewBoard, without sound playing on my computer. This used to work without a hitch. I don't know what changed. Currently, I get sound on both the computer and ViewBoard using Speakers (Realtek Audio) or no sound at all on either using Virtual Audio Cable. How can I get back to sound on the computer when just using the computer and sound on the ViewBoard when I'm casting a lesson with a video/sound.

if I only want to route spotify to streamlabs, can I no longer listen to spotify unless im in streamlabs? when I routed spotify to streamlabs i could no longer hear my music. I only want to be able to lower the volume of the music for the stream but keep the same volume for myself.

I have a PC which has Wirecast Streamer on it for live stream ... I want to play music on that same PC, have that go over the Speaker (physical jack with cable from PC) to a mixing board where voice is mixed in and then sent back to the PC to send out the mixed music+voice over the stream. Right now, I get crazy feedback on the system if I try to use Stereo Mix ... once Wirecast grabs the "mic" device, the feedback chaos begins.

Could VB-Audio help with this?

Thanks for the video! I just downloaded the VB Audio Cable myself. I'm trying to get my FL Studio audio into Discord, Streamlabs, etc. - is there a way to input FL's audio into the VB input and from there out to Discord or Streamlabs WITHOUT running OBS as a go-between?

Hello how do I run VB audio cable as administrator I've already right clicked on both the Setups inside the driver pack and I don't see the "run as administrator" even on the driver pack itself how do I fix/run this?

I got a question. For some reason my sound is really low pitched and glitchy. I dont know why

I cant choose to run in administrator. Can anyone help?

Great video, but still didnt do me any good. i have seen 3 videos and you all were great, but no matter what i do it just the way you say it and cant get volume after setting things to the virtual cables. still dont get sound or audio from them and I have the free and A and B Cables. but 0 volume after they were set up

Not sure if you still check the comments on this one, but if you do, help! I'm trying to use the virtual cable to make Streamlabs OBS record a Discord call; SLOBS's Audio Output Capture doesn't play nice with RealTek audio, and this was recommended as a workaround.
I'm finding that doing so means I can't hear the call. (tl;dr, I can _either _hear the Discord call or record it, but not both). Am I bungling the setup somehow? Do I need a second virtual audio cable? Would Voicemeter help?

Life saver.. even this video 2 years ago I never even realized to add audio capture source and use Spotify as virtual cable.. now I can export seperate tracks OBS but still save discord reactions but not music since before they were combined on my stream PC
