Thank you so much for this. You’re saying important things here! 1st) the high pass. I hear people advocating for 80 - 120Hz, and that has always been so aggressive for spoken word. Also the amount of super sizzly and grainy sounding podcasts because folks crank up a high shelf from 5kHz above. Great tutorial here my friend. Keep up the great work.
ОтветитьRespect sir.... I've been self taught for more than a decade as a hobby and I'm at two minutes and fourteen seconds into this video and you make dollars not sense
ОтветитьIt’s boss type video ❤
ОтветитьI always enjoy your videos. It's like taking a gentle warm bath in a spa. But I don't recommend to edit your own voice for teaching purposes, simply because differentating and objectifying for the listener is much more difficult and you are not equally objective with your own voice. Many people would have edited in a different way. Also, female voices are much easer to edit in general, so I would mostly work on male voices.
Ответить70% of my mixing and mastering knowledge is from your page. This video helped me a lot when it comes to knowing what exactly to look forward to when eq-ing. As an artist who's doing the whole independent thing i appreciate pages like yours. Imma shout you out when i get my grammy in 2025.
ОтветитьThere's so much insanely helpful info here, I know I'm years late to the party, but thank you!
ОтветитьOh my gosh this cleared a loooot of things up for me. Thank you so much you deserve all the best :DDD
Ответитьin vocals between 50-100hz there can be a lot of useful information??? !!!! Are you joking ???? This is the tessitura of the bass guitar and the kick drum. What kind of vocals are there???
ОтветитьThank You bro🙌🙌Very Helpful Video🔥🔥.
ОтветитьYou have exactly the kind of voice I am struggling to EQ in a live setting. If both speakers talk as quietly as you it is a nightmare.
I hope you can help
Fantastic video.
ОтветитьCan someone please tell me what I can do to fix the noise floor issue with the scarlet audio interface? I'm at my wits end! Even when I have absolutely no plug-ins I still hear a lot of hissing noise with the scarlet audio interface. Should I just get rid of that audio interface and cut my losses and get something different? I really don't know what to do anymore about this noise! I've tried everything, in-line preamp, microphone activators, all of it. Still can't get rid of that hissing and humming noise.
ОтветитьGreat video ❤
ОтветитьWould you say that this applies to a livestreaming environment? I'm trying to get an MXL770 to complement my voice.
ОтветитьAmazing video 🎉🎉🎉 im strugeling with mixing my dialog voice with background music ... im beginner and im using fl studio free version... any tipps ? Or maybe tutorial for this problem ??
Ответитьthank you thank you so much it took me longer than i want to say to find a video that could help me
ОтветитьI’m just getting into mixing and mastering and production and I love your videos!
ОтветитьYour voice is crispy but that much crisp just tingles my ears when I listen you from Iphone SE 2nd gen's speakers. But your mic is so good that at the same time when you talk deeper I feel like touching your face while I am typing now and feels kinda weird man😂 My point is I don't like it so crispy I like a bit more mellow high end.
ОтветитьTwo years later, your time put into this video is still useful. Thank you for uploading this! Very insightful info
Ответитьironic that your voice is too quiet
Ответитьthat was a pretty sick guide
ОтветитьAmazing! Thank you so much for such a thorough and fascinating explanation!
ОтветитьThis is a gem!!!
ОтветитьDoes this work for live sound too
ОтветитьAlmost at 1,000000 subs Congrats!
ОтветитьLook sir, I am beginning. I want to record my written poetry professionally. In which my line will go in high tone and will also come in low tone. Tell me such dynamic mic and audio interface. So that I can record and mix later. My room is not sound proof. My total budget is $300. But a shopkeeper told me that you cannot do recording with dynamic mic. Please tell me what should I do. Tell me such a mic and audio interface that I will not regret after buying.
ОтветитьSuch a helpful video! Thank you very much!
Ответить🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьI aspire to reaching a point where I can use this information 😊. This is getting bookmarked for when my skillset improves.
Ответитьthank you so much best explanation I've seen
ОтветитьLoving this channel and all the value you give to mix engineers. Thank you for such a great video and great channel overall!
Ответитьmanne u always thee best
ОтветитьThanks for this video bro. Ur a tremendous resource for ppl new to this like myself
ОтветитьMaybe almost two years old video but thank you. I'm in small and untreated room, which has annoying resonant frequency and apparently I was EQing harmonic and not the base frequency. Now my voice sounds SO MUCH better.
ОтветитьAt a university level it is said that everything below 80hz is useless information for male vocals and below 160hz is useless for womens vocals. It is also recommended to take a somewhat local boost of the frequencies around 6000hz for voice clarity.
Ответитьthank you very much. Very instructive video. I took many notes ;-)
ОтветитьVery well explained although I don't speak English I loved the didactics, using subtitles in Portuguese.
I'm a Brazilian voice artist, congratulations on the video.
I use acoustic booth with TLM 103 there are really some frequencies with box sound. let's train equalization!
Hugs from Brazil
hi! thank you for the tutorial
But are there Free Alternatives to the Fruity Parametric EQ? (that also permits to see energy and hunt down some frequencies?) thank you in advance
To be honest I have lots of problems with range between 800-1000 hz because I realised that I herd some nasal sound there. What can you say about this range?
Ответитьsuch a usefull infornation. دمت گرم
Ответитьgreatr
Ответитьhear me now, you sir are a master at explaining stuff
ОтветитьHow is called the EQ that shows you wheres the echo? I want free version of plugin that works like that
Ответитьthank you so much this was so helpful!!
ОтветитьI like this tutorial
ОтветитьWhat about 15k Hz and above for voice just talking? Cut or leave? Especially for male baritone.
ОтветитьSo amazing class.... much respect from Tanzania,JESUS LOVES YOU....HE WANTS YOU GET SAVED AND FINALLY INHERIT HIS KINGDOM....
