I once had to call 911 because a kid fell through the ice. That year, the ice was very sketchy due to warm temps. What amazes me is that he didn't have a spud bar or spike to pull himself out and didn't even bother to scream for help either. The kid was 70 yards out, and it is a good thing I kept looking back at him while he ventured off the distance.
ОтветитьAs someone who fishes everyday during the springs, summers, and, falls This video reminds me why i take a 3 month break from it, Glad your okay man.
ОтветитьThat ice looked sketchy.
ОтветитьBro there was liquid water my guy stepped right into it chasing butterflies
ОтветитьIt seemed like you went so much further
ОтветитьJeepers.....that's rough
ОтветитьAt least he took the minimum of precautions
ОтветитьNot done the video but looks like your good, always go back the way u got out
Ответитьif the surface was that bad coming back, was it not the same when heading out?
ОтветитьHoly shit buddy! Glad you're ok. Lesson learned the hard way.
Glad you made it
Me and my dog fell through .a.frozen lake....no one was around...I don't know how but it was a miracle we both got out!!!!
ОтветитьI’m sorry but really dude? You really didn’t know you were going to break through? The ice wasn’t even continuous and you stepping right into open water at several points.
ОтветитьGlad you survived. Life isn’t worth a few fish.
ОтветитьDude... I can tell exact spots you will break the ice... use common sense
ОтветитьFirst of all, just by looking at that ice, it looked unsafe. I don’t know what this guy was thinking kind of dumb. If you ask me, there was already puddles on top of the ice.
ОтветитьAin't no way I'm going out there
ОтветитьGood this went well in the end.
It looked he chose the route where ice is darkest, and it broke immediately, was it also most thin there, compare to more white color ice?
I wouldn't be cold as I would have my pants full of shit.
Ответитьis this guy a complete idiot ??? he walked right into that crack that was clearly open water
ОтветитьFor those reading: How to avoid this, 1) no spud bar to check the ice 2) when on thin ice, look at the forecast, good ice in the morning does not mean good ice in the afternoon 3) when you fall in, always go back the way you came from, you already walked in that direction, you know the ice can support you. Stay safe
ОтветитьWhy is he walking on 2 inches of ice?
ОтветитьA lot of other people would have quit and died. You're a stud.
ОтветитьLooked like Apetors faith, except you survived. Never go on thin ice purposedly...its deadly.
ОтветитьWhy the hell are you out there w/ thin ice… bro almost killed himself and went to the L.
ОтветитьWhat an idiot sorry, the ice breaks the first time and he still walks, then you can see the huge crack and this idiot walks into it. Stupidity and the universe are endless
ОтветитьHow stupid can you be? Have some common sense.
ОтветитьThis almost looks intentional
ОтветитьDude, why would you keep going?!
ОтветитьHow can you not tell that ice isnt good ice or thick enough. No spud bar? Like wth are you doing. That ice is so cloudy (not good ice very brittle) and every point you fell in was near the seams of the ice formation(clear lines or holes). We didnt get alot of ice this year where we were but i took my 8 yrd old and was just sjowing him the exact same conditions you walked on was not good ice. Then found your video to show him what i was talking about. Glad you had your spikes at the least. Ice looks about an 1". Do a better job of assets the risks vs reward.
ОтветитьDude.......why are you just walking around sketch ice with no spud bar. You werent even making an honest attempt to check and see what you were walking on. You are very lucky. This video should be titled "Everything you shouldn't do checking ice"
ОтветитьI'm absolutely learning fro Markus' misfortune. Thank you for the upload.
ОтветитьBro you could literally see open water on the crack in the ice and didnt even have your ice picks in hand. Somebody was looking out for you
ОтветитьOnly an idiot would go out on that
ОтветитьDum fuck shouldn’t of been waking on ice that thin he shoulda waited until the ice was ATLEAST 4 inches deep
ОтветитьWow, he would've been dead if he didn't have his ice nails!
ОтветитьYou are insane,, glad your ok but at least carry a spud bar.
ОтветитьSvensk
ОтветитьLmaooo I told my father I was gonna go ice fishing and he said “don’t you get your big a** on no ice” 😂😂😂
ОтветитьHoly buckets glad you made it out! As a big dude I think about this every ice season on lakes, this happens to me a lot on trout streams though, but not to this degree 😲
ОтветитьI can’t breathe 😮
ОтветитьYou are some brilliant mind obviously...
ОтветитьFan va läskigt! Gott å se att du klarade dig 🙌🏼🤩
ОтветитьWhat country is this in?
ОтветитьLol stepping straight in the råk 😂
ОтветитьDetta är mina föräldrars sommarstuga. Vi alla är så glada att det gick bra för dig!
ОтветитьQue buen video, saludos desde chile 🇨🇱 me cagué de frio viendolo
Ответить🥶🥶🥶
ОтветитьFeels fake
ОтветитьIf ice will go bad from a few hours of sunlight in -5 degrees Celsius weather then I think one can only conclude that the ice was bad to begin with. Having one patch of good ice where you start shouldn't be interpreted as a sign that it's good everywhere. How many spots did he check the thickness during the day? What were the numbers? Did that testing identify sketchy areas on the lake or patterns? I don't mean to sound like a know it all, because I am far from it. I just follow the instructions of the guys in charge of our lake, who are pretty knowledgeable. But this season when they shut it down on March 22nd the ice was still at least 15cm thick everywhere. It was a little mushy in spots but nobody was going through. I wondered if they were being overly cautious. But a short 4 days later there wasn't a single patch of ice left on the entire lake! Did they know what they were doing? Absolutely!
ОтветитьSoooo, did you catch anything?
Ответить
