Thank you for getting right to it! Do you know if there's a keyboard shortcut to do that -100 reverse speed without any extra clicks?
ОтветитьThis doesn't reverse the "clip", it plays it backward, which isn't quite the same thing. I want to reverse the clip, such that all the zoom, pan/tilt, crop is also applied to the clip in reverse as well. This approach doesn't seem to do that. When I reverse a clip, I want it to have the same zoom at the end of the first clip match the zoom at the beginning of the second clip for instance, so that when I reverse the panned/zoomed/cropped clips, they completely and seemlesssly match.
Here's how I think you reverse a clip, not the video within a clip:
- Take the first clip from your original TimeLine (Lets call that TimeLine-Original) and put it in a separate timeline. (Lets call it TimeLineA).
- Delete the clip you just coped from TimeLine-Original.
- Paste TimeLineA in its place.
-Copy the clip (TimeLineA) in TimeLine-Original immediately after the first copy of TimelineA..
- Now reverse that second copy of TimeLineA.
That gives the proper result even if you've edited the zoom, pan, etc.
NOTE that copying the attributes from the first clip to the copy without a separate timeline doesnt' do this, becuase you don't get all those attributes reversed, just the video itself.
IDK if this is a bug in Davinci Resolve (18.5), but the approach works for me, yours doesn't but if the clip doesn't have the attributes as yours seems not to, then I get the results you show.
i want to try to editing with davinci 🥰
ОтветитьGreat tutorial for people, who are starting their video editing journey
ОтветитьYou're a big reason why I was going to try to learn FCP, but do you think should start with Davinci Resolve? Is FCP easier to start off with? Any help is appreciated!
ОтветитьYour content is always straight to the point. Much appreciated 👍👍
