have the same wheel badges , but also have them on bonnet boot and steering wheel, think they look better

For the badges with foam, I have always found a bit of fishing wire works great! Just run the wire back and forth under the badge to cut the foam/glue

When replacing original Saab badges with the cheaper copied ones before fitting spray a couple of coats of lacquer on them and they will look good for years.

Wheel caps can be sanded downed, then polished. I did it to mine and they look brand new, and ~40£ saved :D

Good video, wheel badges can be wet sanded with something like 1500 and 3000 and they look as good as new. Also bonnet badges if you use a hair dryer and warm them up they peel off much easier and don’t leave much of the pad behind.

Hey Cyd, great tutorial, however the link to the badges you've bought no longer works. I'm in the middle of swapping my badges after purchasing new gel badges, but need to buy the mounts for them but can't find them anywhere. Any help would be much appreciated!

The only problem when you replace your wheel badges is you have to buy entirely new wheels because they will subsequently look like they've aged 15 years in 10 minutes. 😄

I got genuine badges, more expensive yes but they come in one part so you don’t have to worry about lining the logo up

I've been looking for this exact emblem from the bonnet for 2 years and I can't find it anywhere. Where can I find it? (griffin in black and white)

Extra tip for wheel badges, use a touch of clear silicon between the badge and the wheel. Stops them popping out when you don't expect it and you lose them

Great video for a Saab enthusiast - been a single driver of a Saab 93 Aero 2T convertible 2005 model from brand new with full factory Hersch upgrade its a cracking car. Much apprecaite any info that will help us to keep our prized possessions going mecahnically, electronically, aesthetically and all the gadgetry they might have.
