Never Buy A Car From These Years Find Out Why These Are Worst Periods For Car Production!
For some periods we are missing parts and features that were included in the original spec but due to part shortages could not be included. In other periods there were drastic corner cuts and in an effort to meet emissions regulations some manufacturers decided to move the goalposts rather than actually hit the emissions targets.
Some of these years just mean you can negotiate a better price if you can live with the fault or issue, for other years they really are best avoided altogether.
Some car makers had periods outside of the ones I mentioned but these years of bad or poor quality production seem to be industry wide and affect most makes and models of car.

The newer they are the worse it gets as a rule. Built to fail has got worse year on year since the early 2000s IMO

I've got 5 Chevrolet vehicles. 1988 - 1994. OBD1 Simple. Wouldn't trade them for anything post 94.

All you have to do is buy a car built in the 1990s the best decade for cars especially for Toyota the UK missed out again because 1990s or even 1980s Toyota's are abit thin on the ground but not in Australia

Good video, I never considered how events like COVID would contribute to lower quality, but makes perfect sense. Its probably true for many other products besides automobiles.

It seems in Clearview that because the auto industry was expecting to be going all down the road of electric motor vehicles so when it be time evident to keep producing the combustion engine they didn’t seem to take any care. Why bother everybody’s going to have an electric motor vehicle very shortly very short sighted aren’t they I just love those batteries. There’s nothing wrong with batteries providing you don’t put them in cars and you charge them outside the house hoping they don’t catch the dog kennel alight. Regards from down under the most lowest country in the world.

Second half of 2024 and beyond is the worst. Because of the annoying warning systems.

Never buy Opel cars from 2010-2012, because they didn't lubricate the transmission enough and it will just fail. *doesn't apply to every model and when the transmission was swapped

cars made in 2008 are actually good because they were designed 2 or even 5 years ahead
cars made and designed after 2008 are the problem in my view more specific 2009 to 2013 models
I have a 2009 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDci. 330,000 miles on the clock and still drives like new. Maybe I was lucky.

Volvo 2010 S80 2.5FT just rolled over 400,000 km. It's def brand specific who has issues, as always it's ze Germans at the top! Buying any of them requires extreme scrutiny to not get completely f_cked over

Also cars made in the first production years of its model/generation need extra scrutiny, a lot of quirks and issues show up then that are fixed in later revisions.

My Honda Accord 2010 is superd still running until now no rust underneath the only downside is the dpf.
