The "slender" games, The AI can teleport to any location near or around the player. It will choose how close, from what angle and may come from round corners based of the number of pages and how long its taking you to collect them. Kind of picks the best place to scare/catch you depending on how hard the setting are becoming due to time and number of objectives complete. In haunt I think its relatively the same except they have make the AI much better. I'm not sure how though.

The deaths are very anticlimactic. Still, the ambiance is great.

i don't really get the mechanics of these games. from what I've seen and played, it feels a little bit random. does it use pathfinding? does it teleport? I've never quite understood how it works.

Are you interested in this game enough to do a full series till you get to completion? Lore's interesting, but there's never been a canon for Slenderman.
