ОтветитьCan you help me with pc I San go to settings but can’t go to recovery what should i need to do reset my pc
Ответить25 years of tech support tell me to not let the non technical people get into the BIOS. The last time one of them got into the BIOS, he enabled a lock on it with a password that unsurprisingly he later forgot.
ОтветитьHow is this easier and quicker than just restarting and hitting [F5]?
ОтветитьIs it possible to update BIOS through windows 10 or In Win 10
ОтветитьShift + Restart : Another way to access Advanced startup
ОтветитьPlease ask MSI why I get the error > INACCESSABLE BOOT DRIVE after USB flash of motherboard BIOS. I have flashed my BIOS via USB twice, After the 1st flash windows wouldn't boot, error > INACCESSABLE BOOT DRIVE. I re-installed windows, everything worked fine. MSI then published a newer/updated BIOS and I flashed via USB again. Flash OK but again windows would not boot with same error > INACCESSABLE BOOT DRIVE: this time I decided to load windows "Safe Mode" via windows trouble shoot menu. Once in safe mode I browsed around, all ok, , I then restarted windows 10 and it booted normally, what a relief that was. MSI Z490 A Pro board, december 2020 BIOS's. Kingston 498 SSD.
ОтветитьThank you! Really simplifies the procedure.
ОтветитьBritec quick add can also access that menu by holding shift when clicking restart from start button
ОтветитьHow to convert MBR to GPT while installing Windows 10?
Should I change some BIOS settings like disabling secure boot, etc or should I directly use diskpart and enter commands in CMD?
How should I make a Bootable pendrive?
Is that option specific to a version of Windows 10. Mine (Home version) does not show a UEFI option in the advanced options.
Ответитьvery useful video thank you
ОтветитьYou can also do this by pressing and holding the shift key while restarting the computer.
ОтветитьThank you Brian!,for being an online mentor for us.,Sad that this does’nt support Legacy Bios access on Windows 10.Keep up uploading informative videos like this!👍🏼
ОтветитьHey Brian I know this has nothing to do with this vid but I want to know how I get to the Discord query section - sorry for being out of order
ОтветитьTop tip thanks!!
ОтветитьI don't get the same page as you on my win10 home machine. I get Startup Repair, Startup Settings, Command Prompt, Uninstall Updates, System Restore and System Image recovery.
ОтветитьThanks Brian!
ОтветитьOK, so my MB does have and uses UEFI, but that option in your example does NOT show up in that blue screen menu. Everything else in your menu does show up, just not the UEFI options. Just curious, why not? I still use the delete key on boot to achieve the same thing.
ОтветитьHow old are you dude?❤❤❤
ОтветитьWhy not just press del or f11 or whatever key is required when booting? A hell of a lot less fuss than booting into windows then reboot into recovery and then boot into your bios. Just restart and press the associated key to enter the bios upon POST.
ОтветитьIf you hold Shift when press restart button, also brings you to this advanced menu when pc restarts.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThanks for your time.
ОтветитьThere is a much faster way of doing this. You hold down left shift while clicking restart from the windows start menu, it will go to the same startup menu with a UEFI option in the menu
ОтветитьHandy, saves all that messing about. Thank you
ОтветитьAlways have mixed feelings on being able to access BIOS settings from Windows instead of from the POST screen, more untrained but curious hands to muck around in the BIOS.
Ответитьinteresting way to access the system BIOS through windows settings.
ОтветитьWill help the tech helpers out that is for sure :)
ОтветитьA sneaky one to remember is that if you have a bluetooth keyboard, you won't be able to access the BIOS using a key because the keyboard isn't recognised until the Windows drivers kick in on booting Windows. So if you can't get into Windows and you are using a Bluetooth keyboard. You need an old fashioned one hidden away somewhere you can use as a backup. Some bluetooth keyboards will turn into regular ones if you hook up a USB cable. HTH
ОтветитьSuperb as always.
ОтветитьThanks bro, A bios problem caused my system stop working!
Thank you cuz i could repair it cuz of you! 😍😍😍😍
What is the key combination fur accessing this? There is one but I can't remember it
ОтветитьShift and restart does the same thing
Ответить🏆🏆🏆👍🙏
