I Played The *NEW* Map SUNSET Early (First Impressions + Gameplay)

looks a bit like a mix of inferno and train from cs and a bit of ascent too

Sunset as a map is terrible, really small, easy to lurk, the sites are hard to defend. Even Fracture is better.

oh i see the new map was not big as Lotus the previous map who add in Valorant and i love the lancsape of this map especially when can see the LA biggest building

is it just me or does the map look boring? i mean not the layout obviously, looks really fun to play, but there's just not too many things going on, a lot of empty walls, same looking road, even some recycled assets and textures.

this doesnt look live a very good/easy map to flank on because it seems like everything is connected and wide open plus the map being small meaning youd probably have to wait longer to actually execute a flank without getting caught

Honestly, with Sunset being so similiar to Ascent, i would've welcomed it if they had taken Ascent out of rotation instead of Pearl. I'm kinda tired of playing Ascent and now having a second, pretty similiar map keeps me kind of bored. But Sunset looks pretty, ngl.

from the first impressions, i absolutely love this map, the design, distance to go to sites, color coding, everything is damn good. Seems like riot did a great job here.

I mean its alright. But too basic? I would like something extra. For example PAYING to open a door somewhere on mid (~1k). That way you'll need to think not only eco with weapons, not only eco with skills, but also keep in mind that you might need 1k extra to open shortcut on mid when needed. I think its nice and you can play around it.

I like it. Map shape reminds me of CSGO ancient for some reason?

I feel like if they stretched all of they hallways by 5-10 meters it would take a lot longer to rotate
