That hole in the cap makes it get better mileage. It can't hold much so it doesn't use much...

The new holzfforma g372 pro is so far an excellent saw, even for production cutting! Been good for me anyway, and some folks that aren't paid to or given the saws, say that they have good luck with the g288, just not a good oil pump on them. They mill , log and cut firewood with it . If they are the same company as neotec , then there version of stilhl must be as good as the actual Stihl!! Farmerstec has and continuing to up there game on saws, coming from someone who has nothing to do with the company

Hi my name is George, I have a chainsaw that will not start but there is spark, fuel but not running, if you put fuel in the carburetor and it will run but not when it run on its own. So what would it be?

I own two of these saws and the are great! Maybe you should buy one and do a real review on one before you give your opinion! Instead you do a review on a saw that looks like the owner beat it wit a hammer!! Don’t forget many saw brands like Echo are made in china,Japan and the us.

I don't buy the saw not being abused after it did not run. Some of that looks like it was mishandled after it did not work. Most certainly the carb had a big problem with the needle valve. I doubt it is returnable now that it has had gas in it, and you have worked on it. Hopefully you can fix it for him. But I think the scratches and hole in the gas cap are something the owner did after the fact.

Just looking at the first video you made of this saw when you change the diaphragm on the carburettor yes the needle was in the wrong position but when you reassembled it you didn't put diaphragm underneath the needle in the little V slop so it was still pushing against it which would have made it flood out and hard to start again like I said on the recent video you just made of this machine on the second video you made you wonder how it came out he didn't come out you didn't clip it in

Love yr videos and the no BS , straight down the line. Never was one to fix small engines ever, but since watching yr videos, have repaired lots of good old brush cutters all my chain saws, except one. Watched a video of yrs the other night on repairing old fuel lines on a Husky the same as I have, tried 1once couldn't wasn't sure on handle to take off and where fuel lines went. Well 2nd attempt about to happen. Thxs and keep the videos coming.

Mine's done beautifully for over two years with regular use. You just have to know how to treat a lady from the get go, and if you do she'll treat you right - it's a fine machine.

There is recent collection of utube videos available now they are kinda mysterious. The gentleman offers several different Chinese clones of stihl 660, 038, husky saws 372 and some others. He says he tests them by running two tanks of fuel through them, prior to selling them with a bag of replacement parts. I have not seen pricing but they sound like a real bargain.

A brand new cyl. with scratches means no hard bore coating or poor finish before the bore was coated. Junk either way. The piston should have the scratches, gouges instead…

If it's compatible with the parts of a 660 then you can slowly convert it to a 660 maybe it was just a bad apple I've read people who's been running them for years with no issue their customer service is bar none ice read where people got free replacements simply for the gas caps slightly leaking

I bought the NeoTech 872 after I got screwed by a Stihl dealership putting unmixed fuel on a brand-new Stihl that burned on the first tree I was cutting. Anyway, after a few jobs it is still running well. So far, I have billed $5600 for work done with this saw. I have had it for 2 months now. One of the trees had a diameter of 42 inches. I don't know why that was junk but mine still looks new with no cracks or dents. When I bought mine I didnt realize there was a upgraded one for a few dollars more which I should have bought but like I said I did not know

For the most part when buying a name brand you pay for the quality control. A lot of the name brand company’s use Chinese parts but hold the factory’s/companies to a higher standard. The other no name brands can basically make the same saw but they skip the quality control to save money.

I don't think Neo Tec is a clone of Sthil. Just as a lot of companies make similar colored saws. I own a JPNTECH 20", 60cc/3 1/2 HP, made by Komatsu Zenoah before rebranded Husqvarna Zenoah. All these saws are licensed under bigger corporations usually. This saw weighs in at 19.2 when fueled, and very beefy in design.

I bought one. I paid about $140(ish) after tax and shipping. First time i used it was on a $2500 job. It's the only saw i used in the tree, and a 362 on the ground and found no running issues with it. I could have gotten a lemon tho, lol.

Then go buy a comparable STIHL and pay about 5 X more. These caps are available as well as all the other plastic covers for next to nothing.
My Neotec works like a charm. Better than my Husqvarna.
You are just complaining about an isolated issue.
All products have issues.
