Ответитьdear , please i am serching for romance of the three kingdoms amiga game
i like the intro music for this game can you help me to find it
Nice selection of games, some more Amiga classics games: Rodland (super good arcade conversion and superfun 2 player game), Silkworm (better then the original arcade), SWIV, Alien Breed I and II, Alien Breed Tower Assault, Deuteros, Dragon Breed (a very nice arcade conversion and a fun Amiga shoot-em up), Battle Squadron, Hybris, Great Courts II (also known as Pro Tennis Tour II if i remember correctly, most funny tennis ever), The Killing Game Show, Toki (very good conversion and nice game), Black Crypt (I would have put this in place of EoTB2 in your list), Gods (one of the best Bitmap Brothers games ever), Simulcra (very good 3D shooter), Datastorm (super addictive defender like game), Power Monger, Z-Out and sure there are many many more memorable games...
EDIT: another 3 true Amiga classics: Turrican I (the first one), Dune I (the first game of Dune, one of the most atmosperic games on Amiga and a wonderful adventure/strategc game), Flight of The Amazon Queen (i think this is on par with Monkey Island for humor, graphics and gameplay, a great great graphic adventure game)
Great job thank you sir
Ответитьwhat a decade...i miss those days
ОтветитьThe game that always gets missed but had the biggest longer term effect on gaming was Champipnship manager 92...that game was massive on the amiga for years it never left the charts...and the team kept going and became the modern football manager franchise so the game is 30 yrs old and still updated annually
ОтветитьBrilliant video with amazing gaming memories. Many thanks
ОтветитьBubble Bobble ?

ОтветитьHI, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REMEMBER A GAME IT WAS LIKE, THE GAME CHARACTER CAN SEARCH BACKPACKS IT WAS A POINT N CLICK ADVENTURE
ОтветитьSo many of these games have been remade or ported to consoles like the PS4 and 5 but there's some that have never gotten the treatment and I don't understand why, I'd LOVE to play the likes of The Chaos engine, Speedball 2, The New Zealand story, Rick Dangerous, Superfrog, Lemmings or Cannon fodder again on the PS5, I'd pay good money for them. Come on aspiring indie devs out there, make it happen :)
ОтветитьNo Conan the Barbarian (the platform) game? Iron Lord? Defender of the Crown!!!??? Ports of Call? Football Manager 2? L.S. Larry? Kingdoms of England? Wayne Gretzky Hockey? Detroit? A-Train? Balance of Power? Rocket Ranger!!?? Lost Patrol? Crystal Hammer? Lords of the Rising Sun!?!?! The Dig??? Full Throttle? Very poor list...
ОтветитьAT LAST - A 'best of' Amiga which lists all my personal top 10...
In no particular order (Apart from Frontier at no.1):
Frontier, Syndicate, Settlers, Cannon Fodder, SWOS, Rainbow Islands, F1GP, Stunt Car Racer, Theme Park, Monkey Island.
Though imho, Slicks, Skid Marks 2, F-117A, and Simon the Sorcerer should've made it into this longer list.
Awesome list!
ОтветитьYou have already lived in Brazil? I saw that you have a playlist in Portuguese, I'm Brazilian by the way. Oh, i saw here, is portuguese from Portugal.
ОтветитьGravity Power or Gravity Force was amazing
ОтветитьI loved sensi and kick off
ОтветитьNo Alien Breed...? 😳 That was SOOO Amiga! Nice list anyway.
ОтветитьGreat list. There are quite some games in it that I never played. I do miss a few titles such as Soccer Kid, Superfrog and the great PD game Sneech. But it's impossible to get all classics in half an hour.
Well done!
W e could say it defined gaming back in days
ОтветитьYou run this ganes in a emulador? Elite frontiers is unplayable on amiga.
ОтветитьWhat no Dungeon Master by FTL?...there's a few that I would have had on here but since it isn't my list I cannot comment more than I have really.
ОтветитьGlad to hear Moonstone recognised as a masterpiece. Never forgot this game.
ОтветитьOmg my childhood! I played Speedball 2 so much. I remember the best 2 team names: Fatal Justice and Super Nashwan!

Lords of the Rising Sun
F/A 18 Interceptor
Chambers of Shaolin
Nitro
Zak McKraken and the Alien Mindbenders
Port of Call
Day of the Tentacle
Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade
Defender of the Crown
If you had an Amiga 500 back then, life was great !
Wow, supremacy
ОтветитьAhh the memories...
When time passed slowly, days were longer... Today, time flies in the blink of an eye...
I had the opportunity (and unique) to get to know the Commodore Amiga 500 through a cousin of mine and it was a huge leap in video games (considering that we played Atari and Spectrum)... and then the Mega Drive and SNES appeared and everything changed...
Some games that you mentioned I played, others unknown... My first game ever that i played, it us Robocop 1 and Operation Wolf, the same games, I played with my cousin on Spectrum and the difference was brutal and shocking...
Toki, Rodland, Lemmings, Lotus, Rolling Ronny, Turrican 1, 2 and 3, Battle Squadron, Narco Police, Narc, P-47, Robocod 2, Hudson Hawk, Blues Brothers, Gods, Speedball 2 and damn... The list go on... but they will all be in my memories... 80's and 90's decades that were marked forever... Thanks for the video and memories.
Great video and hard to understand lector with russian accent. I feel torn :3
Ответить80s and 90s were the best decades to be a kid. So many beautiful memories.
ОтветитьBlood Money my Love !
ОтветитьThank you for this video. I had an Amiga when I was very young and I've been rediscovering the system recently with the Amiga Mini. This video was fantastic to get an idea of what the essential games are for the system, many of which I've never seen before. Great work.
ОтветитьThe games were so colorful, beautiful and atmospheric
ОтветитьFrom now on you will get a thumbs down thanks to your inane background music, I can't understand a word you are saying.
ОтветитьYour opening suggested that Commodore was looking to repeat the success of the C64, but it's worth noting that Commodore had little-to-nothing to do with the Amiga, having bought it from the original Amiga designers who ran out of funding and went looking to be bought. Which is also a large part of the reason the Amiga eventually died out after the Video Toaster time period; Commodore had no idea what they had on their hands or how to capitalize and grow it into a modern system. So it rested on its impressive laurels from 1985 until about 1991, after which PCs had caught up and many of us Amiga diehards moved on.
ОтветитьIntro music of Super Cars 2 and Blood Money is the best. Honorable mention of James Pond 1 and Monkey Island 1.
ОтветитьYeah, watching this video, I can tell why I just never got into the Amiga. For me, the SNES was just far more appealing almost across the board. I mean, if I'd been into sim/management games when I was a kid, which I wasn't, I think those kinds of titles would have really shined on Amiga, but outside of that, nah, it just wasn't for me.
Also, what controllers were people actually playing all these games with any? I figure some stuff could be played totally fine with the keyboard and mouse (it did have a mouse, right?), mostly that sim/management stuff again, and a handful of games would have been bearable with a joystick, but surely a lot of these games must have controlled terribly unless you have a decent gamepad for them, no? And how you actually control your games is a HUGE deal for me.
Doe's anyone remember a game with Psycadelic Shrooms? I can't remember the name of it ,but would love to play it again.
ОтветитьBubble Bobble, IK+, Fire Power, ... Man, they were awesome. Spent half of my youth playing them. The Amiga was rocking, while the others were still bleeping :)
ОтветитьThanks for making THIS list. Took me back. Played most of them
