I was a big fan of Kraftwerk and electronic machine-music, but when Yazoo came along with Upstairs at Eric's, and there was Eurythmics, Soft Cell and even Heaven 17 with Temptation, suddenly the combination of powerful, soulful, bluesy music with the electronics brought us into another era.

It's still so catchy this music, I was about 12 when this song came out and hearing it now it's even better when you think of the crap they call music today.
