IVE PLAYED THE TRAILER ABOUT 6 TIMES ALONE SO FAR...I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE TO COME OUT.. JENNIFER HUDSON KILLED IT AND SHE DROPPED THE 🎤 ON THE TRAILER ALONE...GO GIRL!!!

It's hard to see the character due to "Jennifer Hudson" stardom. A "new face" and a "new actor" would have been more fitting and believable. I'm not going to the theaters to see this, but I will support the movie by buying the soundtrack if its available.

Forgive me for not knowing, but is the film actually out, yet? I remember seeing the advert for Respect (that sounded funny! 😂) a few months ago and I thought it looked just INCREDIBLE! BTW I hope they DON'T, or didn't already, cancel Respect's cinema release, and just move it straight to a frickin' streaming platform, which requires a bloody subscription you have to pay for! 😂

I had wanted to see this in theaters but didn't get a chance. Rented it tonight from Redbox. Great movie. Forest Whitaker is oscar-worthy. So is Jenifer Hudson. And the actor who plays her first boyfriend was excellent.
