For oily skin is right! This Ageless was such as astringent sunscreen my dry skin felt TIGHT! It even pilled\ flaked one day… No. no. No (can’t believe this is so touted by derms!)

I have tried so many sunscreens and I think I’ve found “the one” in the Isdin tinted. I have very dry skin and so far this has not made me dryer as so many others have.💗

I started using ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica a week ago and am IN LOVE. First of all, it wears beautifully under makeup. You do have to let it set for 10-15 min though so it won't pill. But once it sets..beautiful. There is a white cast initially (I'm white but have very olive/mediterranean skin tone) but once it sets there's no cast at all for me. Some hyperpigmentation has already faded with this even though prior to switching I have been wearing an spf 50 for 8 months. It's just a great sunscreen. There is a hint of scent but it bothers my rosacea prone sensitive skin less than some other 'non scented' sunscreens on the market. My morning routine is just a light warm water rinse, followed by the ordinary's azelaic acid and then the isdin. If I'm feeling extra dry I will put on a lightweight moisturizer on before the isdin. LOVE THIS STUFF.

My dermatologist just recommended Isdin but I’m not a big fan of the price and trying to decide if it’s worth it. I’m 52 , on Tretinoin and want to tone down pigmentation.

In the tinted sunscreen there are the ingredients sodium benzoate and ascorbic acid, which when exposed to high heat or light turns into the carcinogenic and dna damaging chemical benzene. As this product is designed to be in the Sun, are these two ingredients truly harmless in this product please?

Sunscreens should be fragrance free. The most scented sunscreen I've ever had was Nuxe Sun SPF 50. They advertise it as smelling of orange blossom, gardenia and vanilla. Apart from the overwhelming scent it was a fantastic sunscreen, non-sticky, lightweight and surprisingly qiute inexpensive. I would repurchase it but the scent was so strong my husband hated it when I was using it. As for Isdin I used Isdin Fusion Water (blue bottle) and I liked it, although I still trust most La Roche Posay's Anthelios ans SVRs.

Can one add a DNA repair enzymes serum after a Growth factor serum? What is the best CNA Enzyme serum that is not a sunscreen. What sequence would you apply after derma rolling.

I bought this product and really liked how it felt on my skin, but after today, I am very disappointed. The UV protection actually offered by this sunscreen is much less than advertised. I went to a football game at around noon, and reapplied my sunscreen after 1.5 hours. My mom had told me that my freckles were showing and I was very confused. I did apply enough of the sunscreen and didn't put anything on top. Upon further research by EWG, I found that it has a very poor rating for it's real SPF and doesn't protect from UVA very well.

Just purchased ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica, as I have been looking to switch to an all mineral sunscreen. Most are way too thick and goopy on my skin. Also, I don't care for tinted sunscreens because they always look "off" on my light complexion, which is why I didn't go for the Ageless version. WOW, I was an EltaMD Clear user for years and I have been converted. Elta was always a tiny bit greasy and though I loved it, it was the one downside. I had a definite sheen in my T-zone all day. For a mineral sunscreen, ISDIN is a complete dream!! I personally didn't notice any white case, though; I am somewhat fair. I have combo, sensitized skin and this was the perfect mix of moisture without the shine....seriously just perfect for me. Very lightweight and while I amno longer a big make-up wearer, I think it would go over this nicely. Only downside was the fragrance. It is a baby powdery smell and is a bit strong at first. I can say that it quickly dissipated and whatever the "fragrance" additive is, it didn't seen to affect my sensitive skin, so this is now my go-to. It is pricy ($60 vs. Elta's $39) but the bottle is big and I can see it lasting several months. MAKE SURE TO SHAKE IT WELL BEFORE APPLYING ;0)

My father had some instances of bacteriosis on his forehead, nearby the spots where he has the most skin damage. Can a weakened immune system by uv explain that? He is healthy otherwise, but insists not to wear sunscreen. Be believes that creams and sprays etc make him sweat even more and cause the bacteriosis :(

Hmm… I just googled these here in Germany, but I didn’t find those exact same products, just what seem to be similar sunscreens. I’m not entirely sure however, since everything I’m finding here from ISDIN seems to cost a fraction of the what the products Dr. Dray reviewed cost. Interestingly though, the German reviews for one of the sunscreens I found kept mentioning disappointment at the ”incredibly high“ (i.e. 17 euro price point). Lol! I guess that just goes to show that ISDIN, like any other company looking to make a profit, will charge what they can, but also where they can. Germans for example would never in a million years pay 70 euros for a sunscreen, but I guess Americans will…? I’m sure ISDIN is thanking their lucky stars that America exists! :-) otherwise, they would likely not be able to get away with charging such high prices that most other nationalities would refuse to pay.

What is your opinion of Neova sunscreen, which makes the same sort of pitch re DNA as Isdin. I use both and find the both acceptable but expensive. I've had melanoma and other significant skin cancers on my face, so I'm extra motivated to find the best product. I can use tinted sunscreen instead of foundation in the daytime, but I prefer a non-shiny appearance upon dry-down. I only use cruelty-free products, though I observe that you don't care.

I bought the ISDIN sunscreen from my derm when it was first introduced. I didn't find the fragrance to be subtle (maybe they dialed down the intensity over the years). I loved the texture and the coverage, but I couldn't handle the annoying (and long-lasting) fragrance.
