dang, it should say when is the lake half full of bacteria ( i thought it said when is the lake half full , i guess because of drought it dried)
also define 'fill a lake with bacteria'. doesn't make sense to me. a lake has H20, not just bacteria

If the bacteria double every 24 hours, at the day 31 the lake will be totally filled.

The 1-6 example would be much more dramatic if, say, the numbers 1-20 were used. The same logic holds.
