Funny how he says and shows the nvme bmsay8ng it's 10 times fatser the hdd. No man, the nvme is a lot faster. Hdd ~ 80mb pers second. My names are 7.3 gb per second. About 93 times fatser.

I’d really like it if people who are trying to educate people about PCs use terms correctly.

2TB hard drive - correct
2TB SSD - correct
2TB NVMe - not correct

The third one is also an SSD, just like the second one. The difference is that it uses the M.2 form factor. An M.2 form factor SSD may use the NVMe protocol or it could use the SATA protocol. But either way, it’s still an SSD.

For someone with a tech channel, this should be as basic as boiling water.

Theoretical limit for any format is 7gbs per second, so if hard disks get upgrades, they can move as fast as ssd and nvme, pcie slot never changes

Hey there, stop for a sec.

Read this: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." -John 3:16: the Son is Jesus Christ.

Life is too short to just throw it away. Live it right for God, love God, and inherit eternal life in God's eternal kingdom!!

And receive true joy, peace, and meaning in life!

Jesus Christ loves you so much, He is your Creator after all 😊

The faster speed has nothing to do with the fact that you could attach them directly to your motherboard if your motherboard has a m.2 connector. It is because the nvme drives use the pcie bus. Sata ssds could have the same form factor with a different m.2 connector. But some m.2 ports on some motherboards can utilize both busses. Sata and pcie. And you can you use pcie cards to install extra m.2 ssds.

Correction: you do NOT need a heatsink for most nvme drives but its always a good idea to keep your shit cool

For larger files I often like my HDD more, they're slow but consistent. Some SSD gives you false hope with their cache. They're blazing fast the first 2-20gb then they slow down below some older HDD (~50 to 100mbps / 1gbps instead of up to 10x)
