Gatcha games have no end goal. Some would say RTA or Real Time Arena (Player vs Player) is end game. But as a player of gatcha I can say few things. If you are person with addictive personality, perfectionist AVOID THEM IT WILL SAVE YOUR SANITY AND WALLET SINCE I HAVE BOTH OF THE MENTIONED. I also can give a few tips. I see a lot of people invest time in a game and have hard time quitting not mostly because of the investment they made money wise but time wise. If you done all the content and you see game is not putting out more new and unique content( especially if the gatcha is more pvp focused) and you don't like RTA just quit game and move on to another or touch a grass for a year to realize how stupid I was.

I think Maplestory beat 'Dragon collection' in being the first game introducing gacha into games. With little search (and without IE installed) I could track with waybackmachine that even the North American version of the game had "Gachapon tikets" on sale from cash shop since atleast start of 2008. I didn't bother to do more extensive research, but I know for the fact that it means that Korean Maplestory had to have them atleast six months earlier, which would put the start of the virtual gacha tickets being sold on around 2007, or possibly earlier.
If some is able to check the korean maplestorys patch notes or just using waybackmachine, I would be very interested knowing when they started the sales of Gachapon tickets in KMS.

Well, that's season 1 but it's still as strong as ever, especially with the Mother's Rosary arc, Ordinal scale and the mega good Alicization arc, with a quality, nostalgia, world building and characters that rivals that of the very Aincrad arc itself. At least who do recognize that it's a great anime. It's so under-appreciated and underrated.
No matter anyone says about SAO, *it is the best* until the day I die and even after that. I stand by SAO and Asuna till the end of time! ❤ 💫⚔️
