Entering fullscreen mode changes my monitor to 60hz even though i specify it to 144hz. Even borderless fullscreen will change my refresh rate. Any ideas?

I can't find the "Linear Upscaling" option anywhere in DuckStation, has it been removed?

Anyone knows why MSI's Afterburner frame rates don't match the frame rates reported by Duckstation? I get 80-90 fps in Afterburner with the settings I normally set on Duckstation, despite the fact that most PS1 games are being reported by Duckstation as running in either 30-60fps most of the time, as expected for NTSC-U titles!
With ePSXe they always matched... and I also don't see any option in the emulator to limit the frame rates either...
Also, none of the included shaders or options smooth HUD elements to acceptable levels at 720p-1080p.
Using the downsampling option could do the trick, but would mean increasing the internal resolution to 4K or 1440p first so that it produces an acceptable image quality after downsampling

you didn't give a link in the description for those 480i games.

Hoping you can help me out here, I'm playing Tenchu 2 and have black bars on the top and bottom of my screen so the overall game window is much smaller than it needs to be. I've tried every variation of the crop settings (none, overscan, everything) and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Other than that I think all my settings are the same as yours. Any idea what it might be?

Would love to see you do a similar tutorial for PCSX2. The new version seems pretty similar to Duckstation but there are definitely a few differences that would be nice to have explained better.

Always good to hear your voice mate. It’s been a while since I worked on my PS1 platform. Currently I am using RetroArch Swanstation core with LaunchBox. It works really well. However, I always wanted to try Duckstation. With your tutorial now I will definitely do it.

Quick question, is there a particular reason why you are using an old version of DuckStation?

That version you have in the video is quite old from what i can see.
