In the section about choosing your name & whether you like or disike it... how should we interpret based on our legal name versus the nickname we have been called since before we can remember-- I was named antoinette but my parents called me "annie" since i was born as a nickname, I was never called antoinette unless i was getting in trouble for something and didnt know how to spell it in elementary school, I do use antoinette for doctors type stuff and jobs etc nowadays but im curious what to make of it and whether our soul chose the legal name or the name weve always been called

what i feel for my name is - i feel nothing special, no big deal about my name, im cool with it, no problem, but it feels like my name is no big deal maybe its says im not special/i dont chase to be special, im ok, im cool, im happy, everything is cool,/perfect/im satisfied for everything i have - theres nothing more to seek, all i have to do is enjoy or maybe just live well, just be myself, whatever... im always cool

I changed my name when I was 14 years old by telling all my classmates and teachers since it was my first year at that school, and they had mistakenly written it down incorrectly in the register. Fortunately, without asking me for any documents—which now, thinking about it, seems absurd to me—I was recorded in the register and called by my new name every school year after that.
Until I was 18 years old, I couldn't legally change it because my parents refused to do so at the civil registry before that age. I changed my name because, at that time, I wanted to become a politician. I chose the first six letters from the names of politicians I admired and considered role models, creating a name that I love dearly and never get tired of hearing, even after 34 years.
Unfortunately, I didn’t become a politician because life took me in a different direction. Even today, I can't figure out why I had such an aversion to my birth name—ironically, the same name my husband has in its male version. I met him 21 years ago.

Yes, i changed my name from Lisa Michelle Seppi to Michelle L(Love) Wolfe 10 years ago. A few months ago i started splitting/disociating and went back to Lisa.
