I downloaded winrar from win-rar virustotal says it has Trojan

My pc doesn’t even like go to my homescreen it just tells me I need to repair it

Do we have to boot in safe mode?

I got an email says that i ‘ve been hacked 😢 and i have 48 hours

just downloaded a rom of a game and when i installed it and opened it it started saying trojan installed so i found this video and it helped thankfully windows stopped the installation after the virus was detected but i still followed the steps just to make sure thx

Ngl I just wiped my whole pc is that a viable option
