Everyones talking about clancy and the bakers but what about Hoffman?? He just wanted to go home to his wife and kids but ended up being electrocuted alive and at the end with the weird ass knife contraption thing lucas made he woke up at the last second to witness his inevitable painfull death.

The scariest part of the game is when you wake up at the table

I wonder if hes the reason the enemies were so strong because of his unconventional methods of research his weapons ironically came in handy too on a side note i wish ethan would have called lucas a crazy head haha.jacks attitude towards Lucas likely shows that he's either afraid or at least off put still by Lucas's behavior and I'm sure he knows about Oliver's death

The first resident evil I ever played (not including resident evil zero when I was little) and I wasn’t disappointed

Lucas is truly one of the evilest, vilest and most deranged villains in the entire RE franchise!

Lucas is a very good villain one of the better ones out of resident evil reminds me a lot of jigsaw and I love those movies

I think Lucas was a wasted villain who with his sick and twisted mind and specialty in creating traps, could've been the new Wesker of the Resident Evil franchise.

Atleast in jigsaw the victim is given chance to escape before completing puzzle while Lucas plot to set more death traps to kill victim. This guy is far crazier than we thought, glad I knock this son of bitch in “not hero” dlc.

the only let down on lucas for me was he turning monster on the end of chris DLC, i think i would be better if he mantained human form (maybe supernaturaly strong if they really need a special fight), like since he is already evil the mold does not change him physically, because he is already a monster

Lucas Baker is the type who would either end up as a serial killer when his parents dies if he was from an Urban setting or as a school shooter if he lived in normal Suburb and never reached to High School or College years.

The Baker family dinner is very likely a reference to the family dinner scenes from the Texas Chainsaw franchise

Just want to say that I don't think Lucas actually died, with jack, Marguerite, Evelyn and Zoe they all crystallized when they died but Lucas didn't and considering jack healed from just his legs I think Lucas could heal from having his head destroyed so I think he actually survived

Imo lucas is the best character of re7, he reminds me of nubbins or chop top from Texas chainsaw massacre but like, mixed with dextor from dextor’s labatory. He has a nice back ground truly showing he’s smarter then he looks and psychotic. As much as I love his role / character there’s no defending him. And you may say “oh he killed to play along” but he killed the bully so… they did a really nice job with him.

Why wasn't he in an insane asylum or under heavy medication after he murdered Oliver as a kid? Also, are you telling me his parents and sister never noticed or asked about his friend or smell or find the corpse or Oliver's own family did not report him missing?

I feel like Lucas was a horrible human being for the sake of being horrible kinda like the Joker but lacking any charisma.

What makes Lucas so compelling as a villain is that he's based on reality, there are actual psychopathic people like him out in the world.

Knew Ethan was like jack jack being like Deadpool regeneration and ethens more like sabertooth or wild child not as good as wolverine but still a healing factor and if we got a longer story maybe longevity

Or maybe Lucas had something in his head. Like a tumor. Cause it’s actually quite common for tumors in the brain to cause people to do twisted and sick things.

Lucas, you got to hand it to him, seemed to really be having fun. And that’s what counts, isn’t it?

He often reminded me of the joker with his games and mentality it was very interesting

While I enjoyed what we got with RE7, I think writing Lucas as the final villain in the main game who reveals to be the guy who sold out his family (and community) at their expense for his experiments and profit; would've been a more cohesive way to narratively tie in how RE7's antagonists center around 1 singular family and then the Connections.

I just love how, after his “birthday” prank on Ethan doesn’t work, his plan B is to basically pull a Wile E. Coyote & drop a bundle of dynamite into the room. It shows how Lucas really isn’t as creative as he’d like people to think.
