This game still holds up for being first AC next gen in 2014. Feels bad that Ubisoft didn’t put the effort in to fully polishing the game. They did enough to make it playable but it’s still a buggy mess.
The foundation was phenomenal! This was peak AC. Over a hundred of gear customization with stats to make a semi-build. Different color palettes. Over a hundred different weapon variations in 5 weapon categories. A co-op mode with 30+ missions. Great combat (when it’s not bugged 😂) and fabulous parkour.

I think the story had so much more potential. If Ubisoft would’ve done an another 4 game quadrilogy with Conner, Shay, and Arno all being in the 4th game that would’ve been awesome! It could’ve had Conner being the older mentor to a broken Arno that wants to hunt for the Templar that killed his father. It could’ve all been an excellent and exciting story with the death of late 30’s Connor or some type of life altering injury and a mid 20’s Arno defeating a mid 50’s Shay but not killing him. I see Arno letting go of the revenge because he already had the Romeo and Juliet story with Elise so he can see the point of view of some templars. He knows both orders are flawed but there are people in each order that wants what’s best for the people and not themselves. It could’ve been a story to revival their last story with EZIO and Altair

Bro i once spent 1 hour on that mission, but only 10-20 minutes on my second playthrough (i had to delete my first playthrough because of how hard dead kings was)
