Very informative but you made a big mistake when you said that green is a primary color. Well I think it is a big mistake anyway. The primaries are red, blue and yellow. Green is a combo of yellow and blue. Otherwise thanks for the video. It is very informative.

I’m a total newbie and idiot with this stuff. Trying to learn a little bit about everything at the same time before making some final purchases.

I’ve decided on using Filmora X as my post application because it seems easier to learn, but I haven’t really played with it or bought it yet. Just have the demo installed. Here’s my question:

I expect to be keying in jungle and forest scenes 90% of the time, which are obviously heavy on the green. If I don’t care about winning any Oscars for cinematography but want good quality, should I definitely be looking to buy a blue screen instead?

And do you know if Filmora does blue, or only green, in Chroma key?
