When you think about the fact that Mr. Meseeks suffer immeasurable pain, so much thier willing to do ANYTHING to disappear including but not limited to: killing themselves, death, and torturing another/themself. Summoning another Mr. Meseeks to help is the absolute worst thing a Mr. Meseeks could do.

So this Jerry would turn out to be the Cronenberg Jerry that Rick Prime would kill.

Technically the MeeSeeks did help Jerry, by scaring him.

I think the real problem is that Jerry has such high expectations for himself that he says “ok, I get it!” when in reality, he doesn’t and asks a question seconds later. He also easily gets frustrated for not understanding, when his behavior prior to that impeded learning and asking questions. He immediately gives up after exploding in anger — he’s essentially full of self-loathing.
The worst part is that he wants to be treated the way he treats himself. When Beth yells at him to square his goddamned shoulders, he actually listens. Because he thinks he can only be made into a better person with fear and control. It takes the threat of death and his ruthless wife for him to achieve something. This is why Jerry sucks. He thinks worse of himself than anybody in his life, including Rick. His only source of pride is that he’s the poorest victim in the galaxy. He’s tragically pathetic in that sense.

I think we were well past that in episode one, Jerry.
