What's up? Which camera won? WATCH in 4K!
Settings for this test are the following?
Stabilization was turned on for both cameras for the Galaxy S8+
Stabilization was turned on for rear camera on Pixel XL but not on Front camera because it's not offered.
Both phones front cameras shot video in 1080P
Both phones rear cameras shot video in 4K.
Google Pixel XL is Supab than Galaxy S8±
ОтветитьI am really proud. Because I am using the s8 plus.
Ответитьman you sound like dana white wtf
ОтветитьPIXEL XL
ОтветитьGoogle's pixel and Apple's iPhone are the best in video recording and stabilization cameras
ОтветитьAfter one year … still don't know why pixel didn't use ois
ОтветитьPixel front camera was complete shite!
ОтветитьDo u respond in 2018
ОтветитьPixel xl best camera
ОтветитьPixel crushed the S8, but front camera better video on S8,photos on front camera better on pixel though
ОтветитьLmao, Pixel XL is a late 2016 flagship and it has an on par camera with a 2017 flagship, get @ me.
ОтветитьWhen testing stabilization, you have to record in non 4K mode. The 4K mode on the S8 prioritizes clarity over stabilization used for gimbal shooting.
Ответитьsuperb.. this is the best review ever. thank u..
Ответитьwhat's with the low fps on Google Pixel XL front facing video? looks like 15 fps.
Ответитьthere is no way these cameras are this bad there had to be something wrong while processing this video
ОтветитьGoogle pixel
ОтветитьS8 too saturated? go to pro mode, select tones, tune tone, desaturate.
Ответитьman... s8 looks awsm😍
ОтветитьGod help the people who have a Pixel XL and try to record a good video :D :D
ОтветитьI want the pixel camera in my s8.
Ответитьthe pixel better in selfies
i hate that beauty face mode on samsung phones
very bad idea from samsung
pixel more stable by EIS that make 4k quality worst ,s8 less stable by OIS but it guard more details .
Ответитьcool samsung s8 camera and google pixel camera greg
ОтветитьGalaxy hands down
ОтветитьS8 had a better front facing camera, but it was too cropped in, and better sound. Pixel had better video stabilization on the rear. Otherwise, a toss up.
Ответитьthe galaxy s8 plus has a better camera
ОтветитьBoth are excellent cameras and I've had both phones. The Pixel was a first good shot by Google. The S8+ is an excellent phone as well. The camera is always a personal choice but for me the S8+ looks better over all. I like that it shows a larger closer clearer picture in almost every setting and situation. The Pixel beat the iphone easily and now the S8+ beats then both. Video theres really no comparison the s8+ Id choose in any situation and sound there is no comparison the s8+ is alot better sounding. 2 Great phones either way and you cant go wrong buying either.
Its funny in all this time its still harder to get a pixel xl 128 then a s8 either varient tho.
mic sounds better on galaxy
ОтветитьI like the S8 camera better
ОтветитьPixel won, but barely. Sound is better on S8
ОтветитьI have to say the sound is better on the S8.
Ответитьpixel xl has a better front facing camera for pictures.
ОтветитьS8+ hands down!
ОтветитьBoth have good and bad qualities. Overall, I think s8 won most categories in my opinion.
Pixel pictures tended to be darker to me and that made those photos lose some of the details.
Pixel xl for pics on front and back, galaxy s8+ for stabilization on the front camera, pixel xl stabilization on the rear camera, galaxy s8+ for the sound, pixel xl for low light pics, galaxy s8+ night time video..galaxy s8+ video rear camera doesn't come close to the pixel rear camera stabilization and it has that horrible jello effect
ОтветитьVideo sound quality is hands down better on the s8. pixel sounds like tin.
Ответитьpixel xl
Ответитьthey're both really good as far as front facing camera the Galaxy wins. You should have did the S8 plus front camera at the highest resolution because that is what you get. buy really nice video
ОтветитьI think the S8 let's in way more light. Sammy was making 📸 long before 📱
Ответитьgalaxy is more stable
ОтветитьBoth are great phones!!!... however I give the overall win to the Pixel XL at providing better rear photos and video. The S8+ front video looked smoother and handled lighting issues better possibly due to the zoomed in style of range however that range makes everything look unrealistically bigger and not proportional. Pixel needs to do better with front camera stabilization and lighting.
ОтветитьBecause of the larger aperture on the S8 compared to other phones for more light and better bokeh you have been seeing more washed out photos on the front facing camera and the rear camera in auto mode compared to the like of Huwaei, GPixel and the Iphone. Although the rear camera in auto mode has a hidden feature that lets you adjust the brightness in auto mode similar to pro mode so that you can capture better contrast. Pro mode is the way to go if you know what you're doing. Samsung should issue an update to dial back the brightness about 2 notches in auto mode and that would definitely fix the problem.
ОтветитьI'm hating that the pixels camera still looks better Samsung didn't step it up too much s8 has better mics but stabilization was twerking too much for me and I love Samsung they have to fix it with the note 8
ОтветитьS8+ all the way.
ОтветитьMan, I think they're both great camera for being cell phones. Stabilization on the rear looked to be way better on the Pixel than the S8, as well as low light. But the front camera I'd hand over to the S8. Picture quality I am kinda leaning towards the S8, but not drastically.
Good video, Greggles.
S8 plus
ОтветитьFor you blind asses that can't see the Pixel is unstable on this video shut up
ОтветитьS8 is better!
ОтветитьThe Pixel XL does seem to have some better image stabilization for the rear camera, but in every other way the Galaxy S8+ had better image quality all around.
The takeaway though, is that these are both amazing cameras, and neither are bad. Hell, neither are even okay, both are pretty fantastic!
