23 True Scary Bedtime Stories for Spooky Season

The story about Noah crushed me. It left my heart broken. I dont know how true these particular stories are, but I do know that these kinds of things actually happen in the real world. For all the Noahs in the world, my broken heart goes out to you all. 💔

That Noah story got me. Out of all the stories that one was somehow the most visceral.

The people in the honeymoon cabin story say they haven't been able to stay in a cabin since. I say, GOOD!

Gotta skip the first story. In the past 2 weeks, both my dogs passed away. They were both 16 years old and came into this world together and it seems like they wanted to leave together. It's difficult to hear about dogs without crying, it's too fresh. My heartis crushed.😢

The story of the girl who bought a house with her best friend.. it feels weird. Seems like Julie wasn’t allowed to really have romantic partners, and I get the sense that the OP might have feelings that are deeper than friendship. People are crazy, imagine if OP made it up.. just to prove a point to Julie, who was living her life like any normal person would? Idk.. just seems fake, staged.. seems suspicious

Second story author seems a little wack going half on a place doesn’t make it all yours if you feel so unsafe in a house that far away get a gun that simple you shouldn’t control your roommates social life though and yes only people you know should be in your home. Also sounds like author has a large crush on her roommate I really don’t believe the second story

Off the grid has to be the fakest of the fakest stories I've ever heard.

I've had many dogs in my life, all very different breeds. I have 3 now. Every one of them would detect a quiet small animal at 200 feet, and a stranger much further away. It would take a ninja with supernatural abilities to avoid detection, or to not get shredded by my american bulldog. They can smell a person outdoors 50 yards down the street while in the house. It's annoying most of the time but could save us one day.

The amusement park story hit me hard. I was thinking about it from the perspective of the person who strapped the ɓoy into the ride having to live with the kid's death for the rest of their life. The employees of these rides have so much pressure on them to get people buckled in fast and keep the ride moving, pressure from the riders to hurry up and let them ride and very little pay for the responsibility to ensure everyone is safe.

I bawled during the storm story. I can't imagine the strength.😢

I actually visited Dogpatch a couple of times back in 1972. It was a theme park based on Al Capp's comic strip called L'il Abner. Unfortunately, it couldn't compete with Silver Dollar City just across the state line in Missouri. 😢
