Blackmagic FINALLY GOES FULL FRAME | Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K

Please Blackmagic, if you read this -- the form factor on this thing is killing us. The lack of ability to mount larger batteries, monitor, audio, etc. -- it's just not workable anymore for those of us who love BMD's color but can't show up to set looking like we just got our first DSLR. Create a box camera which we can customize and adapt and it'll crush the Komodo!

Me i dont care. Since they still left the most important thing out AUTOFOCUS i wouldnt buy it. They simply could have had a button to turn it on or off so why not when almost every camera has this.

This camera is a slap in the face to all those who were expecting a box camera, full frame, internal ND's, higher dynamic range, global shutter, etc. It's like the design went backwards. And it continues to be this poorly balanced monstrosity. Blackmagic totally ignored the wishes of all end users. Kinefinity did a better job in implementing a lot of the wishes their loyal followers had.

is this one weather sealed or not

I think the next Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K PRO will be with built-in ND

Coming from sigma fp, wanting to buying a camera to compliment my fp with L lenses i have, my minds wants to go to s5iix but 4k60 crop is disappointing . then i look at my g9ii but having to invest in whole new system is too much. then this comes out! 6k looks promising, but only wish its has an articulating screen, but then again its built for pro cinema to rig it out anyway. Search continues

Sorry James, it's a hard no for me. I've already had this camera for the past 2 years... it's called the Panasonic S1. BMD simply failed to impress without 8K.

Black magic had one job! BOX CAMERA!! Jesus that ugly pocket dslr form factor! Lol

This should've been the G2, they are taking the early Apple approach when it comes to cameras smh..

Not a box design and still use a still camera design from the fifties… that are horrible for gimbal balancing.. no thanks.

Internal ND = Instant buy... There's still ways to adapt, matebox, mount etc etc, but kills the size factor. Let's wait for a Cinema Camera 6K PRO or a URSA G3 LF
