Very good box. The remote control is so-so.

I have been having this weird problem where It will randomly shut off ( with the logo going to red) in the middle of anything I do, My room is cold and I put a laptop cooling pad under it, still shut off, now i switched the power supply, still waiting on results. Has this happened to anyone before? I sell boxes so I have a bunch of these in my store, I know gearbest does not do good with returns, and this box really fit my description, I was not looking at any other boxes.

I run gears tv and gears 17.3 kodi build. its not the build because it shut off on other builds and in the wifi menu

MMG, although I still  need this faster, larger, better box, I thought my older boxes at 4.2, which I can only load up to 16.1 can be upgraded to allow , please tell me how to "load 17 fork"

what's the trick to upgrading to 17.1, I never had problems on my older 4.2 boxes but they can only go up to kodi 16.1, no problems on fire stick but I want something to keep up with upgrades and something fast. I purchased this after researching and recommendations but what is keeping it from upgrading. I download 17.1 just as I did on other devises but it will not load. I have one suggestion of uninstall/reinstall but if I can't install in the first place .....suggestions?

I'm toying with either the Meecool BB2, Beelink GT1 Ultimate or the H96 Pro, you have review them all which one would you get? also is it better to have external WiFi attenna (like in Meecool).

hmm strange, a few days ago i bought a npet bb2(2gb) which just a rebranded mecool bb2, and it can easily hit 42000+ in antutu, 450+ single and 2300+ multicore in geekbench. so its outperforming the pro version. well i guess i cant complain then.

In benchmarks I do not see much difference with my player NETXEON QII (BOLV S912 amazon),
which has the same CPU, AmLogic S912 and 2GB DDR3 RAM/16GB ROM.

The 5.8Ghz must not be allowed by the FCC entity here in the United States, I ordered and received both Beelink boxes GT1and the MiniMXIII-II, and even though the Gear Best site states that one supports 5GHz and one they state doesn't support 5G Hz band when both boxes are 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz, they both will not work. All routers that I have seen for sale here are only 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz band capable.

I wonder how emulators would work on this such as playstation 1 and nintendo 64

Fantastic Job, I just ordered this box thank you for the review. I would of ordered the other box you mentioned but I am in the US and 5.8Ghz band will not work here. Sorry to see no great improvement due to the higher Ram, other than its read and write speeds improving, due to it being DDR4 Ram. Will definitely load Jarvis 16.1 for now until; they work out the issues with Kodi 17.

another great review whats your thoughts on the alfawise h96 pro plus?

so is it possible to uninstall kodi 17 and install kodi 16 on this? or is it locked. I have been looking at this tv box for some time and want DTS to work along with playing 4k movies
