CyberPunk 2077 Ultra Settings Ray Tracing DLSS 4K | RTX 3090 Ti | i9 12900K

How is your cpu so cold? Mine gets 100c easily

Just recently saw the Nvidia Project Beyond Livestream with RTX 4090 running Cyberpunk at max settings with maybe RTX on.

With DLSS 2 = 60-70fps
With DLSS 3 = 90-110fps (a huge jump)

And I think it was in 4k. Without DLSS...30fps and RIP 3090/3090ti users.

The problem with DLSS is that I can notice a downgrade in visuals

7000 crazy bucks for playing and cannot get 60 fps on 2077 😂😂😂

even with 3090 ti this poland shit can drop fps to 40? with dlss?? what a bullshit poland game...

doesnt matter if you play this on high settings with ray tracing or on low settings with 30fps its still a broken game. Night City is mostly empty with lots and lots of vending machines and NPC's with very few lines. I lost count how many people who said "Stop you'll swallow a fly."

To all the i9 and 3090 owner, what else they want in life?

40 fps in combat for all that money!! meanwhile on my XBSX I'm getting 60fps for £450 this game really is un-optimed trash for the PC. Devs need to have a word! with themselves.

They are so silent with upcoming Cyberpunk content... and Witcher 3 remaster... it's really annoying.

you know what ? nobody ever shows us on YT on real comparison between ray tracing on nvidia and ray slowthing on AMD.... will you do it with FSR2.0 VS dlss 4K RT And 1440p, RT ultra and psycho cyberpunk test ? screen by screen.... should pay for this but i dont have money because im still paying my 3080ti

what fps do you get without DLSS?

If you want a smooth gameplay also , just drop volumetric fog resolution. You wont see the visual downgrade and you'll be good at 60+ fps. Very nice to see some intel gaming !

Hey. The clock readings just below 5,2 GHz are probably caused by external base clock generator for CPU, the one at 100 Mhz. There is one in CPU, and one in the motherboard.

Awesome video on the system build. Love the update. As for your missing frequencies, I wonder if your motherboard doesn't have some kind of base clock offset set by default or some kind of auto setting that adjusted your BCLK.

Ray tracing is a big scam. The visual improvement is minimal and the fps drop is massive.

Good thing you jumped into 12900k, I was wondering "when" would you test it. For msi bclk, you need to set it on "auto" in the bios, not 100. Looking forward to see next benchmarks, performanceTest for DDR5 too.

Hi. May I ask you a question? I have a 5900x and it draws at least 100w while gaming. Do u power limit yours or smth? I see it only draws 70 to 80. Or is it just because you play in 4k and the system relies more in GPU?

Should I turn vsync on in NVIDIA settings? Trying to find out best things to turn on or off. I have a ryzen 9 5900x, 3080 ti. Also should I consider updating graphics card every time? New to pc gaming. Thank you! Love your videos.

Ampere didin't improve performance much at 1080p and 1440p. I really hope the next generation will do better at these lower resolutions because yeah ray tracing is really demanding so a high refresh rate expirience with ray tracing at lower resolutions is a really nice idea tbh.

Would the 12900k be better for 4k res gaming than the 5800x3d? In terms of lows as well? Trying to figure it out which one to get, and I mostly play 4k.😁

12900k sustained clock speeds on P-cores vs wattage used is pretty wild. Can’t wait for Intel and AMD to put out chips that push 5Ghz all core while only using like 35w

You’re right about the 5800x3D and it’s magical cache. Haven’t seen a jump in performance like that since the core2 and athlon days. Coupled with a Radeon card to take advantage of SAM. Insane refresh rate advantage.

Your afterburner settings. Mess around with the sensor settings. Things a headache. Only way to be sure is experiment options, alt tab, and test.

MSI AB is weird, I have a similar display problem,. if I BCLK up a little, my 5100Mhz stays 5100Mhz in the OSD not 5160Mhz it should be, mine stays locked.

How fast does the fans on your 3090 tuf run? Mines the fans at stock with auto was running at 82% to keep the gpu at 72c. I really don’t like the thermal performance of it. I’m going to get the suprim x instead for a quieter gpu.

The problem with this game is that it still has a lot of bugs. The ubiquitous reading of details and textures at close range can show what kind of technical crap we are dealing with. This game will never be repaired. And graphically it does not impress at all. Even on high details without RT it is difficult to get a steady 4K 60fps on the RTX 3080 card

Is your 12900K an older sample that still has AVX-512 available on the silicon?

Man cyberpunk sucks, for some reason it stutters since new drivers. My 3070ti struggles at 4k without ray tracing with dlss

So am guessing we're gonna need the 4000 series cards, probably the 4080 and higher to run this game above 60 fps at 4k Ultra and max Ray tracing.
