This is NOT self driving
ОтветитьLiving in India this traffic seems very organised ant not chaotic at all 😂 I don't know if I should be happy about it or sad
ОтветитьI don’t think u know this but u were in a bus lane at one point
ОтветитьFull self driving does not exist lol
ОтветитьI click the cod vanguard
ОтветитьBut what's the point? I would prefer bus/metro instead of autopilot. If in car- I love to drive.
ОтветитьFrom NJ to NY I hate the traffic near the tunnel smh
Ответитьif you think nyc is chaotic, you have never been to Rome 😂
ОтветитьWhere the time gone 22 mins just in break. Just great video. Keep uploading bro
ОтветитьThat’s my favorite Tesla
ОтветитьCod vanguard is still up. I can’t believe it
Ответитьi will never live near NYC lmao. People are dicks at driving.
ОтветитьGetting TO NY is different from getting along IN it! ;)
ОтветитьNever been to New York and never will.. it’s madness over there
ОтветитьIt looks like systems not really understand lanes. Not cool in deep traffic yet. And i think it will not ready to auto steer in winter roads with covered by snow roads. Can't see road lines, marks.
ОтветитьThis Video screams perfection! The car, the voice, the ambient music, the weather... Perfection !
ОтветитьIs that your safety standard "few disengagement"?
I would aim for zero disengagement because that one disengagement could be fatal.
No auto pilot
ОтветитьThis person has a very deep calming voice.
ОтветитьI don't think i would be able to drive there xd. Let's hope my car can do that for me in the near future.
ОтветитьI’m 47 and I hope the technology is perfected by the time I retire. It’ll give me so much freedom and independence. Imagine waking up and being in Vegas pulling on slot machines! 🙌 Great video. Thank you.
ОтветитьIt’s still got along way to go but I’m still impressed from what I’ve seen it is a beta after all
ОтветитьBeing in NYC, I'm glad you made this footage.
ОтветитьCome to Miami (at your own risk). We have some of the most dangerous drivers on the country.
ОтветитьYou’re a bold man for this. I used to drive that same route from NJ to NYC. After a while I just started parking at the top of the Port Authority bus terminal. I’ll walk in Manhattan thanks! lol
ОтветитьDo you think accelerating when it's not really necessary gives the FDL better or worse results?
Ответитьlooks like nyc is too savage for greenhouse raised fed tesla FSD LOL
ОтветитьI’m dead he said the wheel have a episode
ОтветитьNot many people have the nerve to take a over $125,000 car into NYC and drive themselves much less let FSD run the show. WOW
ОтветитьIf you can make it here you can make it everywhere
ОтветитьCan the main screen (tablet) be dimmed or darkened in a tunnel or at night? It's crazy it's not doing it automatically. Great video btw.
Ответитьyou disengaged at the part we all wanted to see.
ОтветитьHere's a video of Tesla FSD in NYC. For my next trick, I'm going to disengage because there is no way it could handle this scenario. What a lame video.
ОтветитьLet me correct you sir, "If it can conquer Indian roads it can conquer any road on this planet". Trust me.
ОтветитьSo I don't think this was a true test of the AI, and I say that for this reason, your reluctance to allow the AI to drive the car without intervening voids the test, as the true evaluation is to allow the AI to make the mistakes it’s going to make, and see how it reacts and if it doesn't figure it out on its own, then that's a ding, because you then had to take over, and I fully understand your reluctance to do that, because it's your car, and no one wants to get in an accident and that becomes an issue in some type of litigation, moreover, who wants to go to court? I certainly don’t, and what would my argument be, that I wasn’t driving the car, and that the car was driving itself. Yeah I don't think that argument is going to fly, because we all know that the law hasn't changed, and that the law requires us to be a licensed driver, and in full control of the vehicle at all times.
So I get your reluctance in this particular instance, and I certainly agree that these drivers in New York city are the most aggressive drivers anywhere on the planet, and you can trust me on that one, as having been in the military, I have traveled to just about every place on the planet, so I fully agree with that, but the true test is to allow the AI to make the mistakes without intervening, and that's a tough thing to do in a real world situation, but I have no doubt whatsoever, that if we're going to get to a fully capable self driving Car/Vehicle, Tesla will get us there first before the other guys, as I don't know what the hell they're doing.
So I am fully confident of that, and I am not a beta tester, I asked to be one, but they didn’t pick me to do it, so I don't have that upgrade you have there, but what I do have is quite impressive, so I hope they get this out to more people sooner rather than later, as I don't think anyone thinks it's going to be perfect, whatever that means, but allowing us to become acclimated with the latest advancement to me would be worth it. Cheers!🥂
Hey your driving down my work street in NJ! Thanks for sharing ❤️
ОтветитьThis is awesome 👏🏽
ОтветитьGreat video! You definitely get anxiety driving in NYC!
ОтветитьWell I'm disappointed since you don't even tried FSD at the entrance of the tunnel... Come on now...
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьGreat video !! TYVM
ОтветитьIm sorry but that looked everything but safe, can you trust it and if not when?
ОтветитьWhy would you disengage it tho. Deal breaker I was really thinking you would let it do it ownnnnnn thinggggggggg. Forget about faster lane this is content. On to the next video let it try it itself like Elon said like you said from the beginning ughhhhh was good video tho. Just let it do it’s thing next time smh
ОтветитьFSD was engaged, disengaged and engaged again; that in itself tells me FSD is not suitable for big city traffic. I am very impressed with FSD but for that application FSD simply does not work!
ОтветитьFor me as an European, this New York traffic looks to me normal and not especially complicated or aggressive. So that's why I always doubt Tesla will ever make it completely, because this is for me the normal and not the big exception.
For example as a human I need to see only one second an official guy (like policeman or road worker) waving his hand or making any special gesture and I know where I am allowed to go and where not, also in the following and not just in this second. I don't need to calculate where exactly, it's just logical if I see how the construction site or tunnel merging area or what ever in the world is set up individually there, only there. I understand it, even if I have never seen such a specific setup before, but I can understand, what makes sense. A computer doesn't know and understand the world so in general. So whenever such individual situations appear, and that's often in big cities, every day, then FSD (Beta) will fail at this completely individual moments, e.g. with human interactions or signs where individual, not standard phrases are written on, etc.
There should be the simple function at FSD, that when it gets confused, that it simply says "please take over", and not just try to solve weirdly a situation, that it can't understand. Yes, if it's completely lost, it beeps wildly as "please take over" but this is often late and often it doesn't ask for taking over at all but sits confused just somewhere or just tries something randomly although it doesn't understand the surrounding. Why, why not admitting early that it can't do it and ask stressfree to take over.
What’s the song that’s playing in the background? Sounds really good!
Ответить"Full" self-driving?
Ha, Ha! What a lie!
Great video. At some point I forgot what's the purpose of the video and was feeling like I'm in the passenger seat or back seat and was enjoying the drive around NYC and enjoying the chat. Soothing voice, super chill personality, great background music, cool car and unbelievable city. Made me forget about the daily stress for 23 min. Thank you for that. Great job!
