Buzz
Ответитьthat clip of Dizzy Gillespie tho
ОтветитьI felt like I've been doing something wrong the entire time and stuck with trumpet because I wasn't sure I could play horn
ОтветитьI'm struggling to fix it cause my tone sucks but the buzz noise is all I know how to do
ОтветитьI’m a fifth grade I play trumpet that’s what my teacher said too buzz your lips that makes me feel sad
ОтветитьIf you hate the word so much why did you say it 9 times
ОтветитьBoy I am a fifth grader
ОтветитьSorry love your content but I am a 5th grader and I play trumpet 🎺
ОтветитьBuzzlightyear: 😐😐
ОтветитьMe: ships a bomb
My phone: *buzzz*
Man, I only learned the trumpet properly last year and now we're playing GREASE in my orchestra. After 2 hours of practice the only sound I can make is the buzz 😂
ОтветитьBuzz
ОтветитьBuzz buzz buzz buzz buzz
ОтветитьI'm a 5th grader who played trumpet in Carnegie Hall like, 2 weeks before. (Thx to American Protege Music Competition) and I, as a 5th grader, am quite frankly, very annoyed
Ответитьi’ve found out that the more i try to “buzz” my lips, the higher notes i can hit. playing is basically like second nature to me so i don’t have to think about it. when trying to hit high notes i have to think about it and try to “buzz” my lips.
ОтветитьI play the trombone I just started at the start of the school year and it has been a couple of months and I am already learning a solo called autumn leaves
ОтветитьSame with us trombonists
ОтветитьNote for brass instruments
We buzz first so we can get the sound
Then we play same for woodwinds
I hate the term "bowing". If you bow the hair across the strings it's going to sound horrible. Bowing is not the action, it's the result of having proper hand position and touch.
ОтветитьExactly
ОтветитьBuzzing is for 5th and 6th graders that i also use
ОтветитьThis definitely needs more traction. That technique certainly has its purpose to get goofy fifth graders to do the right thing and start the sound. But then along the way, the middle school band director and later the high school band director do not work on transitioning the student into the more proper technique. One of my repair tech buddies ranted to me about this and I changed my ways immediately.
But also consider gender differences in both teaching and instrument selection.… A quick look in my area, and there are more woodwind players who teach middle school band, and more brass players who teach high school. You’ve gotta hope that each grouping is going to overcompensate in their lacking category to teach those students. I fell into the stereotype- female, woodwind, middle school band director. I had to work a lot harder on brass and especially advanced snare drum technique with my students.
So I love to see these videos being put out by brass players. Just remember that none of us come out of college, truly ready to teach. Now, if you’ve got someone who’s been teaching 20 years, and they still haven’t learned, that’s another story.
lol i learned this myself too
Ответитьlow brass shaking in their boots rn
ОтветитьBro really said BWAHhhhhhAHhh when he put it to his face lmfao
ОтветитьI been playing this in 5th grade it always tickled my lips when I first learned to play it
ОтветитьThe reason they say buzz is so that when beginners try to make the buzz, it makes sound. They aren’t actually buzzing, but trying to buzz makes them make sounds on the trumpet
ОтветитьI now feel as though ive escaped the matrix
ОтветитьI just got a trumpet today, saw this reel, and was able to make a much clearer sound after trying again
ОтветитьThanks I also had a handbook that says to smile while breathing out for the buzz
ОтветитьThank you, im learning the trumpet now and this really helped!
ОтветитьU can have a correct ambusher and buzz without the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is not needed for buzzing
Ответитьchanged my life I swear to god😲
ОтветитьYour buzzing with your tongue on your lower lip. Thats why it sounds bad
ОтветитьMan I’m a fifth grader f u
ОтветитьGay
ОтветитьWow plz xplain more😅❤
Ответить5th grade me was decent at the trumpet 🎺 so I’m offended
ОтветитьSo is it blowing or humming or both? Im trying to learn
ОтветитьBuzzzzzzzzz
ОтветитьBuzz lightyear🤨
ОтветитьI never knew this and some times our band teacher would take us in for 1 on 1 sessions to see we’re we are at and I would just say I have a sore throat because My buzzing sounded so bad and I was embarrassed 😂
ОтветитьThanks I cried because i was the only one who couldn’t make a sound
ОтветитьPlus "buzz" sounds as disgusting as spit valve XD
ОтветитьNah when I started trombone, I was like dang I’m done for it doenst work ima have to rethink my whole life strategy
ОтветитьYes, and a good teacher can call it a buzz and still be ok.
ОтветитьI think you a Scam artist.
ОтветитьSo basically correlation doesn’t mean causation.
ОтветитьDude I didnt even think about that but it makes sense because my teacher can do it but I Can't (I can't buzz without the moutpiece)
Ответить
