ОтветитьThis was a really nice video It covered all the topics for my colloqium. But can someone explain to me the difference between euchromatin and heterochromatin (as this video didnt really specify what type of chromatin)?
ОтветитьChromatin is probably the most important component
ОтветитьHi! I think I want to clarify something here: it is NOT the opposite charges that associate the DNA and the histone: the backbone structure of the histone protein contains a "helix loop helix loop helix' domain (aka a 'histone fold') which hydrogen bonds with the sugar-phosphate backbone of the DNA. Remember: DNA is usually not negatively charged in vivo; it always has various proteins associated with it that stabilize its charge! Hope this helps anyone!
ОтветитьAWESOME
ОтветитьThank you
