As a Nilou-haver, here is a simple(r) breakdown of her skill:

Press skill-skill-skill to get your first 3 strikes which apply hydro damage. The NEXT STEP is what's important and determines the skill's function.

Press the skill again to get a hydro aura which follows you and your party around. Great if using for a hydro support, for blooms and other reactions. (It's a lot like Barbara's ring, but larger aoe and better cooldown, plus doesn't apply wet to the character.)

OR

Press the normal attack button to get Nilou in hydro attacking mode. Great if using Nilou as a dps.

I love her versatility, I have her for support on my bloom team (Kokomi, Kirara and Kaveh), and as dps for my freeze team (Kokomi, Layla and Kaeya)

Looking at her 2d artwork, so beautiful.

Nilou and Nahida have already become my favourite characters on a team together, and this is coming from a Day 1 player. I love that Nilou has a lot of complexity to her kit, but she's actually very easy to play, once you understand what it is that makes her so useful.

I regret not getting her.. I tried her on my bestfriend account.. the damage is insane 😭

Why is her kit so damn complex

i think nilou is the only person i still don't understand what they do even after watching their collected miscellany

As in-depth & fun as her kit looks, I cannot and probably never will get over her being pale as a ghost & with that color scheme. It’s just far too much contrast.

I think it would've been neat if they added a 3rd variant for her E, if you pressed E again and NAs in an alternating pattern, and it produces a different effect
Example:
NA E NA or E E NA, etc , you get the point
(For honkai players i meant smth similar to azure empyrea)
But i guess that would be overcomplicating her a bit more

Did anyone notice how her armpits are covered in gameplay footage, but are not covered in any cinematic footage?

Redesign Nilou’s 5star Weapon. Key of Khaj Nisut is not harmonious with Her. This weapon is a symbol of the Lord of Sand(Scarlet King). But Nilou’s belief is Nahida, and her background is in Sumeru City, no relationship with desert.

I really hope they improve character quest to become more enjoyable. For example latest nilou character quest is boring af a lot of text after text watching npc talking again and again I can't help myself but hoping her quest to end quickly. Character quest are support to be unique not some random world quest.

Imagine if they made her ult like Eula was as for every dendro core spawned/or hit would grant a stack making the burst final hit larger, (of course being a larger delay between the ults pop)
