mach6 is great but for me 2024 its about mizuno neo vista, great tempo shoe

1080v13, Hoka Skyward X, Brooks Glycerin Max, Asics Novablast 5 in that order are probably my most used daily trainers.

Would you recommend the Superblast 2, Novalast 5 or Glycerin Max for a third shoe in my current rotation of Ghost Max 2 and Glycerin 21?

I haven't run in any of these shoes. I just run in Brooks Ghosts and whatever Adidas has on sale. Guess I'm missing out.

Puma velocity nitro 3 not on the list :o If you consider the price, it should imo.

Rebel v4 is the only new model I've bought this year. Couldn't say no after trying it on.

Daily trainers simply need to be comfortable and that is very individual.

My training shoes are Novablast 4 , Magic Speed 4, Rebel v4

i love the NB balos for jump training workouts and the v4 for most other things

adidas is amazing. I love my SL2s.

I hope they've sorted out the grip on the Novablast 5, was a major issue for me in the UK when running in wet conditions

Having heard those shoes from multiple testers/reviewers/runners, they are a bit controversial.
Some love them, for others they are too soft and bottom out.
For me as a heavier guy I won't even consider them. But for superlight peoeple they may be an option. Rebel formwide and high volume feet, Peg+ i don't know + too expensive, should be an 140€ shoe like all the others.

I think all of these shoes are excellent choices as daily trainers. My question isn’t which is best to run in, its which is the most durable? It’s really hard to make a spongy and reactive foam that lasts much longer than 400 miles and if you run much more than 50 a week you just EAT through shoes and they are quite pricey. I was wondering which on this list is the best bang for your buck?

Did you have any problems with Novablast 5 in wet places? Is version 5 slippery?

The best daily trainer for me is asics metaspeed sky paris, because I simply bought it to use it every day

I'm using hoka mach 6 for daily trainer and got it for only 82 $ (IDR 1.300.00).

Got a pair of Rebel V4 for $63. But I currently have the DN2 and More V4 for daily/recovery runs. Can I wear the Rebel V4 in the office (mostly sitting, with occasional walking) to save it until one of the other two is retired?

Would the Novablast 5 and Triumph 21 be a good rotation? Novablast for every day trainer. And Triumph for long, progression runs and for a first half marathon & first marathon race shoe?

Like this list except I wouldn't put the Pegasus Plus on there. I think for larger runners like me it doesn't have enough cushion.

Novablast 4 is more versatile compared to Novablast 5. Nov5 is just a softer version. Nov4 is better.

I really love this shoe but it was a big disappointment its duration. I´m 142 lbs. and at 300 miles I felt that the midsole began to fail. And at 350 it was completely done. I think that for a daily trainer it´s a very short life.

Does the rebel 4 have a plate ?

The SL2 is, in my opinion, the best of this batch.

I do quite a bit of MTB usually but I’m looking at getting into running in 2025 - I’ve done the odd 5k in my regains new balance shoes but can anyone recommend me a trainer I’ll be doing 3-4 days per week of running mostly between 3-5 miles but occasionally maybe 8-10 miles id ideally like Hoka, On cloud or New balance ? Any recommendations are appreciated

Can't comment on the other shoes but Ascis NB5 is my go-to daily! Truth be told, it's my favourite in the rotation and just perfect..... For me at least.
