Mob lawyer Oscar Goodman playing himself in the movie was the coolest thing ever....He later became Las Vegas Mayor. Followed by Oscar's wife subsequently becoming mayor.
ОтветитьI found out later, as a grown up, that as a kid I had lived on the same street as the Spilotro family home on Chgo's NW side. Riis Park divided my block and theirs. I also attended the same highschool as one of the Spilotro brothers. But not during the same decade.
Ответитьin the end you talk like a child of 4 years. grow up, please.
ОтветитьSpil-ah-tro is the pronunciation. I’ll give you a pass for not being from Chicago. Tony’s brother was my neighbor growing up.
ОтветитьThe mafia came to a halt? 😂
ОтветитьThe Chicago outfit is not the mafia, and these are not made men as in the Sicilian mafia. Even Al Capone was not in the mafia, he was Neapolitan not Sicilian.
ОтветитьGotta say there’s no one sticking up for the little gangsters these days. 😢
ОтветитьI honestly cannot believe nicky was murdered and dumped in a hole....WITHOUT HIS SHINE BOX!!!
ОтветитьSantoro reminds me of Mr Death
Ответить$100,000 in 1930 is about $2 million today. Not $1 billion as is incorrectly stated in this clip. Massive fail. .
Ответить“Alpha male aggression”?
If it weren’t for alpha male aggression you’d be speaking German right now.
I fucking love gangster movies
ОтветитьThing of it is that Scorsese make these characters admirable, glamorous and dashing but they're not. Rothstien wasn't known for his good looks or fashion sense and was the bald gawky polyester clad opposite of DeNiro's. The kinda guy who wore a $10,000 pinky ring with a leisure suit. Ginger was nowhere near Sharon Stone and known to be very slutty. She supposedly banged her pill dealer on her wedding day. I guess these type movies wouldn't be so popular if Marty hadn't romanticized it so much but there was no glamour involved. In real life it's just awful people doing terrible things. Regardless l still love Casino and Goodfellas
ОтветитьThere should be a movie done about govt. corruption and criminality. For decades now politicians have been on the rich people's payroll. Ontario's wsib is another perfect example of absolute corruption as well
Ответить“their Vegas” was a dump
ОтветитьThis was pretty useless. Just a recap of the movie.🤭🤮💩
ОтветитьPretty sure that the narrator meant to say one hundred million dollars and not one hundred thousand dollars in profits. One hundred grand in the 20's and 30's is not one billion dollars now. Think about it for a second. There were people walking around at that time, like Dale Carnegie, JP Morgan, Henry Ford, Andrew Mellon etc, who were worth hundreds of millions. By your highly innacurate calculations, they would have been worth hundreds of trillions in todays terms and would have been several thousand times richer than Bezos and Musk. They were not and this silly mistake casts a shadow over the veracity of any subsequent statements. Is it so tough to check a video for errors and correct them?
ОтветитьThis narrator guy seems like a beta male aka a liberal
ОтветитьI agree Vegas has gone to crap and has become a trailer park guality amusement park. Zero class and a boring place now, sad it was a really fun town at one time.
ОтветитьThey don't make gangster's like they used too these days.
