Subnautica's Secret Unexplored Zone

Nah actuallly, its the void, if you go to creative and go to the void with the prawn suit you go 8k meters down you can find the lava zone but deeper

Yeah idk what it is, but I found it with my cousin at one point. there's still some blotches of lava there, and there's pillars around where the hole drops. There's not really any life there as far as I could tell, but its weird how it's not there for some people.

That secret biome is known as the VOID there is nothing and ghost leviathans spawning non stop

"many great locations" yea until I exit my cyclops in my prawn suit into, what I thought was a straight shot down to the lost river, then hearing my PDA tell me that it's an ecological dead zone that is completely dominated by microscopic animals and leviathan class creatures then having my prawn suit be crushed by the incomprehensible amount of psi of the water at 2300 meters down leaving me to the endless darkness, being attacked by ghost levitations, and slowly drowning

the "hell hole", as it was called, was a placeholder entrance to the lava zone as the developers worked on it.

that used to be the best place to get get straight from the safe shallows down to the lava zone and could just barely fit the cyclops. Until it was patched. Not a new zone but instead just a shortcut that was sadly patched

(Nothing is better thanStumbling into a new zone full of fantastical creatures and plant life) me who traveled to the back of the aura on accident

This new area might have nests of the gargantuan Leviathan and there's probably millions of other leviathans that might be in there that we don't know do without at that area that's probably the reason why we are can only use the return of the ancients modded to probably find this new area if we do have to use return engagements mod I'm going to be downloading the return of the ancients and then I'm going to figure out if the area is actually in the mod

can someone tell me if i should go to the dunes i have been wanting to go there but idk if it's useful

The small area under the lave zone is just where u can find the building that u have to get to to meet the sea emperor

All nice until you hear "Detecting unknown leviathan class lifeform. Size is unmeasureable, proceed with caution."

Subnautica has almost zero replayability, you end up having to go to each different zone for either crafting resources or the story, so there's never the opportunity to stumble across a new zone you've never seen before.

There's a ghost leviathan in my Grassy plateau

you can tell the devs wanted to do way more with the first game. maybe some day they'll make a subnautica 3. I do know that company is making a new game but it isn't subnautica

Simple explination: it was a prototype of the biome from development that was accidentally connected to the lava zone. Either that, or it was a prank by someone who edited the wiki.

Now we know why the prawn suit go's so deep.

It's litteraly the active lava zone, u have to enter it to complete the game

I still wish there was a way to connect bases upside down. Imagine a base dangling from the bottom of the floating island or on the roof of the lost river

I forget which episode of markiplier's playthrough subnautica but I'm pretty sure he explored that area at some point

There's ALWAYS cut content. I know from first person, devs always want to give more then they can. Thank God we have project managers, then we can actually ship something. You wanna see a project that didn't allow their PMs to do their job, Mass Effect: Andromeda.
