When I was in school I used to play this all the time on my laptop with the fans running full blast. It was so hard to keep a bored neutral face when I lost all of my progress from the past month because a sea serprent came out of no where and one shot me lmao.

You left out the part where enemies that killed you will continue to guard your shit and wait for you to come back so they can kill you over and over as you try to retrieve your stuff before it dissappears, sooo be prepared to have multiple shields and weapons stored at your base to

my first moments in rlcraft wer eme hiding and building a shelter then i got the one of those events and im like "ahh it cant be that bad?" checks outside and proceeds to get grabbed by a giant sea gull and dropped to his death

I’ve been playing this on the steam deck and my first time was about 20 minuets of randomly spawning underwater in different oceans, getting killed by sirens, those blue things underwater, and a boss siren, then getting spawned underwater next to a village with a way stone, beds, and no monsters. I decided it was the new home for LIFE.

Well, you're encouraged to explore, but how the f-ck are you supposed to do without dying every few minutes...

purple biome is my favourite - it spawns mobs that give you slime
slime is used to make a lead
lead, combined with iron pickaxe, creates grappling hook
grappling hook is the only thing that makes this modpack fun at the beginning
