LMAO when I saw that first win post I just thought it was some high elo League player moving over and being impressed someone got a PvP win with Adriana that soon.

I got tricked and bamboozled.

Year later, I picked up the game cause i saw that i can play something like league without the downsides of league (also anime but ignore that), its a lot of fun

new player experience is awful in my opinion. started playing yesterday got 15 games in of which 1 was not against bots. got rolled obv. dont know the characters, how much dmg everything does...
next game vs bots again. and these bots are useless, they dont use abilities, they dont have gear, they dont group, they die in zone, they are afk... like they dont help u at all to learn the game.
and i practiced about 5-10 matches agains ai before to get a basic understanding of what to do ect.
let me play 5 bot games and then get smashed 20 games idc. atleast i can learn something

i cant even kill anyone in this game! they be flying all over the place 🤣

After my new player queue, I keep getting match up with some veteran players in solo match and in the end I getting stomped.

I played the mobile game version of this and the BR when it first dropped but haven't touched the game in about a year. This video made me re install.

Some good words from me to you all that have a hard time in competetive games! (include myself in this one)

i say this with love and experience! when you make a footprint in your mind of you getting misthreated by the game you automatic get worse at the game so try to have a positive mindset and 1. good way im using in all competetive games is to record and then when i get frustrated from any game i go over the recordings and look what actually happened and believe me on this 8/10 times i find more wrongs then unfairness :) and then you go next and try to improve on just those specific

I started playing this game like a week ago and my experience as a new player is horrible. 80% of my game i get killed without my build finish and it was super frustrated. The lobby is full of experienced players that won't let you study the game. Lemme tell you, that shit happens every game til i reach lv20 for ranked match. I learned a lot from lv1 to 20 but it was really a terrible experience. I think for hot-blooded people, they would drop the game right away.

I just started playing yesterday and only got one win with my friend in duo queue.
I haven't had much community interaction yet but this video has made me hopeful that it'll be much more enjoyable to interact with other players when compared to other battle royales

ngl, playing this game for about a week now, I still cant reach at least top 3. And Im still trying to figure out a way how to land in places that has the right items for my builds. Its kinda hard for me ro take all of those things into account, But at the end of the day, I had fun, ignoring the fact that I havent won even once coz the enemies are sweaty as heck

this was same in sc2 friendly to new player and also good player spend time watching me play to give me tips. Then i went on lol and got bullied so hard and got reported on my first game ever

not sure if there are smurf in low lvl but i keep getting those who literally wipe the entire lobby (got over 8-12kill) ,like 4/5 match e.e and all i can do is play hide and seek since i cant even hunt animal for exp (imagine you got scared of using skill because the moment you use the top rank guy literally yoink into your face)

played this game for a few months and..

i only got 1 win in casual.
thats it...

i understand the mechanics
the plans.
the routes.

The main issue is that since its item based theres a lot of luck involved to race to get the best gear.
This is frustrating because you basically cant do anything to those above your level/gear which kinda cheapens the experience for newer players.

Maybe adding a new mode where its just an arena mode.
No gear
no food
Your character is like lvl 10 and you can upgrade skills at the start and thats it.
It would make it a lot more casual/newbie frendly which would make them go into the main game more likelly.

just found this game a couple days ago through a friend of a friend and started playing last night and my experiences have been very weird but definitely funny. I like the game a lot! :D

As someone who is currently installing the game and hasn't even played it yet, I'm genuinely surprised that a MOBA game (even if it isn't a traditional MOBA) can actually have nice people in the community.

this game is too hard for new players. especially since new players match with vets. Its impossible for a new player to have fun when they are getting destroyed every lobby no matter what they try. I haven't played this game in like a year because of how frustrating it is to learn against nerdy sweats who play this game too much.

The hardest thing for new players is know what food you can make on your routes. Given that you cannot, for whatever god forsaken reason, put food into your build plans.
