The process of loading public data sets has changed a bit since the video.
I am posting here the steps I used
Step 1: Select your project
Step 2: On "Welcome to your SQL Workspace!" screen, click on "Add Data"
Step 3: In "Source" search bar, type "public" and press Enter key
Step 4: In result, select "Public Datasets"
Step 5: In "Marketplace" search bar, type "NCAA", select "NCAA" from auto-complete
Step 6: Select "NCAA Basketball" from search results
Step 7: Now you can see "public data set" available in projects pane, and view it.
Well, I clicked on View, and it created a new project for me with all the public data projects, instead of loading NCAA basketball data into my project. But that works for learning :).

Could you guys please update this video series? It's not as simple as showed in the video no more...

Anyone that knows a step by step process to get data and actually see it to be able to analize it?

The video is a bit oudated as the GCP has changed its UI for BigQuery (and also many other services).

As of Jan 8, 2023, I can see the data after adding the data through the 'Analytics Hub' tab (you also have to enable the API).

Is COUNTIF funcfion a unique feature of BigQuery? I have not seen such a function in other dialects of SQL.

I am unable to find the tables for the dataset in the example in this video. That option is not available on my screen.

When I open the dataset, all I see is the Dataset Info. My options are to "Create Table", "Sharing", or "Copy". Did I click on the wrong thing?

This is just Standard SQL 101.. I am trying to understand how why a business should choose this data warehouse over SAP HANA, or SAP BW or Oracle DW
