i was stupid to assume there would be any impact effects. after all this is a game that cant even do phantom explosions, something that even halo 3 could do. instead they reuse 2004 halo 2 effects

It is true that brutes suck at aiming there only good at melee aka ramming like they did in the infinity

It just doesn't have the same appeal as the halo 3 anti air cannon

if you listen closely, moments after the gun fires you can hear distant explosions.
i think it actually does hit the frigate but 343 just hasnt implemented the explosion yet

How TF does a banished weapon look feel and sound like a MAC blast but UNSC MAC cannons do not??

I do like that they added a bit of details like these to the multiplayer maps, makes you feel like you’re part of a bigger battle than the skirmish that the map is in.

I really like how they reference the covenant AA gun from halo 3. Reach also had some cool AA guns. As for mission types I like the ones where you go on search and destroy missions.
