Final Cut Pro 10.4: Working in HDR

I have an HDR LG TV and my FCPX doesn't allow me to change from rec709.  It is still greyed out.  Your modify page looks different also.  Any ideas?

Where do you get the window with that colourful circle and blocks?

Hello Mr. Spencer! Is it possible to make an HDR slideshow in fcp 10.4 using the workflow shown in this video? If so, what would be the recommended file type and color space for exporting raw photos?

iMac 5k, maxed out, MacOS 10.13.3. Followed the tutorial step-by-step. The waveform (RGB parade) did show nits/cmd/m². But now, after relaunching FCP, it doesn't anymore, only IRE (the other two options are greyed out in the scope settings' dropdown menu). Tried several times (with no idea what caused the issue) and got the right scopes back occasionally. Seemingly at random. Both Library and project are set to 2020 PQ. Has anybody had the same problem?

I just done editing my travel video,. on project settings I used REC2020HLG but my source it says REC709 the result is I can't change my title's color.. Do you have any video that shows proper settings workflow from import in Rec2020 edit in Rec2020 and export to Rec2020? thank you

When color correcting HLG BT2020 footage, do you loose color information when using "Space Override" changing it to R709? I find that I get much better color grades when I manually grade BT2020 in R709 timeline than if I override the space to conform to R709 then grade.

Steve, I need your help.
I've shot 4K 24fps HEVC HLG 70mbps on GH5s.
In the Import window of FCP I can see thumbnails but no videos are just black. After importing I find only black screen (the same) movies with normal audio and timing but with no video/color options.

colour space is greyed out for me

Kind of sad that stock transition presets don't support Wide Gamut.
