How to Grow on Twitch Fast in 2021. And A WARNING...

Im not grossed out by it, I just think that its the easy way to grow fast and get to the top. I wouldnt do content like that personally but if you want to, go for it more power to you!

I've been streaming for about 7 years. 4 of which I've been seriously invested in but honestly unless I do a giveaway I have just me in the stream. Not exactly sure what to do. I post on 4 social apps, try to interact when people join (it can get quiet when there's nobody for hours at a time), giveaways, try to help others, etc and idk. I just feel like the only views I get are people coming to laugh at it or just type "ha 0 views". It's bothered me to the point it's added to my insecurities :/

I can't afford a hot tub or else I would totally do one :( Just want those viewersss

been streaming for 4 years. still averaging maybe 10. but I love the people that come to my stream and hangout. took a couples weeks off for my mental health though. Feel like its getting a bit taxing. hopefully eventually ill grow.

I don’t understand how hot tub streams aren’t a TOS violation with the clothing alone.

After 6 months of streaming I’m finally able to cash out on twitch for the 1st time but I’m working on growing my audience I have a set schedule I know it’s gonna be quite the journey but I’m excited I only get max 5 viewers but every single viewer is important and some days I have less but I love streaming

Hot Tub Meta Trend? Tbh, if there's a will there's a way. Hot woman wearing less and less clothes is nothing new. I'm just impressed they found this loop hole, honestly. In the long term I would say, maybe they should move to a different site... 😳

If someone wants to prune up in a hot tub for entertainment, then more power to them. I know the main argument is that there are kids on the platform and it's mature content, however I think you could say the the very same thing about the violence in the games that these same kids watch. If it's not against TOS, leave them be and watch something else if you don't like it. Plus they now have an option to say you're not interested in certain content that shows up on your front page. If you have 13 year old's on Twitch the guardians should be overseeing what they are doing anyway.

Correct most people on Tiktok post the same content cause some of them post unique content. Heck one of them avoids using DMCA music by only using streambeats.

I dont agree with the hot tub stream. Cause if a guy does it, they get banned and some girls wear very skimpy barely covering attire.

At first. I was annoyed by the HotTub streams. Just like the body painting streams. But then I stepped back and looked at the creator side. I saw that these creators knew thier audience. They know what they want and they play into that hard. (Giggidy) They also know TOS and how to flirt with it enough to gain an edge. And we can all learn from those two points. Know our audience. And know the website.

It's also where Twitch is going. They aren't adding knew features. They aren't adding any stories or something that will help discoverability. They have who they want to be discovered. They are the live streaming platform everyone is copying. So they will take that lead and use it to diversify thier content. They don't want to just be a gamer's home. They want it to be everyone's home. Artists, cooks, sportsfans, news, ect... That's how they'll keep thier lead in livestreaming. At least I think that's Twitch's strategy.

Let me first start off by saying I watch the whole video and there are few things that I would like to get out there now the one thing that I will say is when building up your Twitch Channel you don't want to as you like to call it copy paste something on what you've done and what your experiences and then and then expect somebody to use that same information that thinking that that you're thinking always going to work because it's something that I figured out but it's not that simple the one thing I'd let people know here is that you can't just copy paste something what may work for you many years ago it's not going to work for that person that newer person that comes to streaming or that comes into making content for their Channel this is not going to work like that the one thing that I will see also is this numbers you talk about you know return Investments on something and looking at the url url url scuse me and you're wanting to know about numbers well it's not about numbers if you always worrying about numbers then you're going to fail as fast as you're trying to grow because all you're doing is worrying about numbers the one thing I let people know year is this don't look at numbers because numbers tend to scare you it's tends to overwhelm me when you look at that you don't want to get overwhelmed your first month of your first 6 months of your first 3 months in right so don't look at that yes look at your achievements that's something that you can look at because it's something that you've achieved and that's great now any other thing with numbers you don't want to look at anything else to do with numbers cancel that will get you down in a rabbit hole of numbers and you don't want to do that so the one thing I let people know here is this focus on your content don't focus on anything else yes it's not who you know it's not what you know but it's just about being yourself it's about showing people who you are as a as a person as an individual now we've seen this time and time again with people that let's say there are four years in or lot longer into twitch do you want to try to Rebrand themselves every branding meaning that they want to try to come out of their their comfort zone They want to try to show who they really are as an individual now they want to show that real person they don't want to play a character anymore cuz it character now is now done I don't want to do it anymore and want to show who they really are but they can't do that so they kind of default by back into that character so that's the disadvantage of of that of being you know years and years in deep and to Twitch and just starting out because if you're starting out you're not worrying about hey I got to play this character know you're just wanting to just to be yourself and being yourself can do you a whole lot of good because a lot more people they see you because they respect you in that and they see you as a real person not just some fake individual that wants to be phony together because people cuz we all can smell that a mile away at my apologies if this is a long comment but I do want to put you to know that that you can't just a copy paste something and think that it'll that that right there will work for you or that will work everybody else because it's not going to can't just copy paste something so K this work for me for years ago this may work for you like that and also looking at numbers not anybody at all either not about a brace or a thought about how fast she could go but this is about kind of the old saying The Tortoise and the Hare kind of brace you want to be that tortoise she want to be that person that's going to slowly go case-by-case bit-by-bit taking the time taking that that slower route for that slower route to go through that's what twitches is about taking your time now the title of this is can you email can you grow in 2 months no you cannot grow in 2 months that's a pipe dream if you think you can grow in 2 months then you're really pushing in or dreaming so to speak

I have no problem with the hot tub streams, though Most are just "kiddie pool in the living room" streams. Not my jam, but it doesn't affect me one bit.

Okay, I wasn't expecting to be attacked for my Barbie streams.

Very important information. Something a lot of folks in my discord and others I'm a part of struggle with. There is more to streaming than what you do while on stream. It's a whole process. There is a back end and other content/media you should be conscious and aware of. You should be posting live notifications everywhere you can. Networking, linking your twitch in Discord for those discords that will support the go live in the user list. A lot of great advice, and even more implied.

@ashnichrist ! Amazing video like all other you have! Just want to say thank you for your videos and wisdom for small streamers to grow. I’m a new streamer and content creator and so far I’m getting results from your advice but like you say nothing is that quick and I know that Kingdoms are not builded overnight. Again keep with the great content you produce and great advice like always YOU ARE HELPING PEOPLE MORE THAN YOU THINK!

My guy just gave me the best idea that will actually allow me to stream in the next couple of months.
It lifted my mood that has been 😡 for a long while.
Still treating it like a profitable hobby so it will be a joyous journey.

The having good connections part is why I say getting noticed on Twitch can be a lot about luck. you can be streaming to that 2-5 people and then suddenly a bigger streamer decides to raid you and then you are all of a sudden getting 10+ viewers a stream and it can just start going up from there.

Though you can kinda force this by doing a decent amount of networking but networking with other streamers while they stream always feels sleezy to me.

Thoughts on the kiddie pool/hot tub trend: I tend to be pretty live and let live as long as it's within the TOS. It's not content for me as a creator or a viewer, but neither is a lot of content on Twitch. BUT I do feel like more, uhhh, shall we say "tantalizing" content should probably have its own category rather than just be in the Just Chatting section. I think most of the streamers have an 18+ rating on those streams, but I feel like another level of filtering that out would be better for the community on the whole.

And that's really me speaking more as a viewer than a streamer--As a streamer, I don't feel like they're doing anything that would negatively impact me. I don't want that kind of audience or attention, and I generally find the idea that someone else is "stealing views" to be ridiculous. If I'm not engaging enough to keep folks around, that's on me, not another streamer.

idc about hottub- i cannot blame someone else for the growth of my stream- as long as its labeled mature so that we aren't allowing minors to view the content. just so there are no questions abut safety.

Wonderful video! You asked about the hot tub streamers, and honestly I'm fine with it as long as it's within TOS. I have a very different audience than them, and I think blaming other people for my lack of success would only hurt me in the end. :)
