I never thought a two minute video could be so helpful, lol.
I'm new to high school band. Every single other student, whether in my grade or not, has been playing their instruments for years, and so i am way behind everybody else. I'm making it a point to practice my clarinet for 45 minutes to an hour each day, but it sorta sucks because I didn't understand the whole note explanation page that was at the front of the book I was given, and I'm a very anxious person so for some reason I never thought to ask our teacher/ director. Thanks :3

4 quarter notes = whole note
2 half notes = whole note
8 eighth notes = whole note
Tip: if you stick together 2 eighth notes its now 1 beat
