to be honest the prison has like 10 zombies, really easy to clear, its a solid base spot
ОтветитьI'm currently using the grocery store in rosewood but I've used this place and the rosewood fire station in the past and let me say it, the fire station sucks so much compared to the grocery store and the construction site since they take a lot less effort to defend and it doesn't have rooftop access/lots of already defended grass to plant stuff
ОтветитьTHIS is my current hideout in our online multiplaying. 😁 Unfortunately the gate fences were destroyed so I have to fix that. But I'm liking it because it's huge and a bit isolated so there were only few zombies roaming around.
ОтветитьI personally suggest the side by side secluded forest homes right by this construction site especially if you're playing coop, you each get your own home. Clear out the path outside of the dirt road pocket and the homes immediately there on that road and you're set. I didn't see a single zombie in the dirt road pocket leading to the home in 2 months spent there.
ОтветитьThis video was quick and straight to the point, had good points and reasoning and also had an actual smooth way to tell us to like and subscribe. Love it bro.
ОтветитьI would say its the second best. The best are these three houses with the fences
ОтветитьI like Rosewood fire station as a base more. Bit more difficult to start, but once you get the parking lot walled of with fences+boxes its awesome. Big garage, lots of storage room, fence around 2/3 of building with farming space.
Ответитьno there are three houses in the southeast of louisville that are completely fenced off except for one easily blocked off entrance, infinite water, a huge area for farming, and close proximity to a fire and gas station, shops, and the rest of the city with few zombies in the area
ОтветитьThe Country Club near riverside is pretty good too, it has a fence, a lot of space, and a lake you can get water and fish out of. It's also very low zombie pop
ОтветитьFor Rosewood I like to shack up in the supermarket. Use a sledgehammer to take out the stairs and you're 100% safe, with plenty of room and the rooftop of the laundromat is perfect for farming. The downstairs can be secured with doors or crates+fences, cars or whatever you want and I am using it as a very spacious garage, with a van for a door to have it somewhat secure. Also it's very near the gas station to power up a generator (just make sure you sledgehammer all the lights you don't need, both indoors and outdoors so you cut down on the fuel usage)
ОтветитьExcept those front gates can easily be broken in to by a nice, little horde. Ask me how I know 😬
ОтветитьCan zeds break down the tall fence gates? Seems like they can, as they dont ignore them like they do the actual tall fence
ОтветитьI like to go to the house west of Riverside. South east from the gas station. Right beside the for sale houses. Not a single spawn there if it’s urban focused. Very far away from anything but 100% nonetheless
Ответитьjust take over the fire station its way way better than construction with a sledgehammer you can destroy the stair so zedbys can never get to you
Ответитьno water no fish
ОтветитьBad location dude. We had a base there. Constant threat of zombies as they reach the peak. No clean water. And you will loot the city pretty quickly. We had a base there and we dropped it and moved to a farm in the center of the map.
ОтветитьAm I the only person that uses the large cabin at the summer camp? That place is top tier base location.
ОтветитьI'm currently crashing at the Post Office in Riverside. It's pretty great so far. Knocked down the stairs with a sledgehammer, expanded the garage area by destroying the small rooms next to it and have a decent farming area on the first floor's roof.
Got pretty lucky though when it came to loot and skills. Managed to get to level 8 carpentry in less than a week, found 6 generators at the Self-Storage area and got a freaking machete at the warehouse along with lots of cabbage seeds. I only really struggled at finding a sledgehammer. Had to travel to the town south of Riverside then panicked because of a laceration (Luckily I didn't get infected) that I got due to taking too much risks for the sledgy.
the gated community in rosewood is also pretty good, close to the main street and nearly entirely fenced in. it's where i've lasted the longest so far
ОтветитьThe question is, can the zombies destroy the fence gate?
ОтветитьThere are plenty of better situated places that have high fences and proximity to loot. That gate isn't impervious either..
ОтветитьMy base is at fire station nearby
ОтветитьSomeone tried basing here in a multiplayer server I'm playing in and they got absolutely over-run and couldn't leave, I had to come drive by with a car to distract them so he can actually come out and help clear them out. The VHS tapes he gave me were worth the hour long chaos, but I hope he takes my advice and makes a stairway so he can get over the fence somewhere else.
ОтветитьIt's far from everything.
ОтветитьI live in muldraughs northern warehouse ; lots of storage and low zombie population ; and i can have a safe rooftop farm and rain catcher plumbing system
ОтветитьI'm currently using the medical centre in Muldraugh. Plenty of rooms for storage and stuff downstairs and a cozy living area upstairs. It also feels like an ideal location, where the zombie population is fairly low, while also being pretty close to good loot buildings. It does require a fair bit of wall / fencing to block it off, but when you do, you'll have plenty of ground for farming and maybe a shed or home extension, and there's a nice little parking lot to put a few cars. Oh, and I found a small section of water just a short walk away in the forest, so a good spot for fishing and trapping.
I originally wanted to use the farmhouse to the east of town, but it was a long journey to get anywhere. It also required some off-road driving, which slows you down and wears out your tyres faster. Furthermore, I originally liked having the storage shed outside, but it meant leaving the house and running over to this other building for crafting/storage, whereas I have a perfectly adequate space for that in the medical centre, just downstairs from the living space. The other appeal was the farming space, but if you've fenced / walled off a house, pretty much anywhere inside that space is fine for farming.
That's legit. I also kind of like the Ranger Station and the junkyard at Riverside. There is only one true base though the farmhouse with a well.
ОтветитьYou sound like an absolute puppy beta male. Man you are wrong there are many and much better spots.
Ответитьi survived for 1 month 13 days on this base, 897 zeds killed, but you know how this game ends, best base on game 10/10
ОтветитьI just holding up at the prison lmao

I usually don't base in the towns, but atm I'm holed up at the gas station in the unnamed town. Has lakes nearby for fishing plus gas and it's double storied. Loot areas aren't the most abundant but if you clear the whole town out you can either loot riverside, muldrough or rosewood pretty easily if you drive there and back.
Ответить"Your house is where your heart is"
Basically, have no base if it's not a mobile one or a checkpoint with some resources
that is literally my most fave base!
when I first started, I mostly settle my base on Muldraugh, that cabin with huge wooden walls in the woods but its small and you can get easily overrun if your not careful.
when I learned about the construction site in rosewood, that become my most fave area to spwn in
There is a group of three houses by a lake to the west of West Point. One of the houses is almost completely surrounded by an indestructible tall fence that you can see through. It is within spitting distance of both the river and a lake, and there is a fireplace inside the house. It is also surrounded by trees and a significant distance from the nearest town. You can easily wall off the short path to the river from the back yard.
If you can manage to stockpile enough petrol to go for a while, you can last a long time there. You can fish for food, there is more than enough land for farming, wood is abundant, and you can use the fireplace to cook and heat yourself without electricity. The only device you would have to power would be a refrigerator. You will almost never have to deal with zombies, except when you drive into town to collect more petrol, or if you didn't bring enough axes for the trees.
i personally like the house in the forest just a little down south from that construction site but those fences are really helpfull
ОтветитьWell I know what I’m doing today
ОтветитьWell I think that if you want to settle in rosewood you might as well go for the fire departament. It has safe sleeping places alot of water will be there after it is shut off it has a garage and some heavy loot. There are more zombies nerby but zombies cant hide in the trees and rosewood is very small anyway, so you can clear it in a few weeks easily. Aside from that i dont recomend rosewood as a place to live at all becouse there is little good loot compared to other even smaller towns and zombies spawn there so youre never going to be safe. If you want a better spot i personaly like to settle in ome house/werehouse in the agricultural area between rosewood west point and maldrough (is that how you spell it?), there are almost no zombies there and you can find a nice bit of tools from werehouses and sheds, there are foor werehouses and you can find 50kg on potatoes and other vegetables in each so if you get a car in the first 20 or so days you can get a whole lot of fresh or stale potatoes. Aside from that you can loot the cities easily and you can chop wood easily
ОтветитьYou should make a video where you build a huge all custom base here. Would love to see what you make
ОтветитьNo fishing available, no well, as far from the gas station as you can possibly be in Rosewood and basically little no built space so you'd have to build everything from scratch. The fence is nice but it's far from ideal.
ОтветитьNooo delete this video! Lol
ОтветитьBruh, the best place in the whole game is the 3 houses next to West Point hunting cabin by the lake. No zombie reach there, free water, 20 mins drive to either Riverwood or West Point.
Did I mention free antique oven and already built in fireplace?
The Best Base is The Cabin In The Woods With A Well Northwest of McCoy Logging. Yeah, I said it. :D
ОтветитьI'd argue the drive-in movie theater further down the road is a better spot. It doesn't start 100% fenced off, but it's further outside of town and thus the zombie pop is low. There's a gas station across the street & a pond just past that, so you have gas, water, and fishing all close by. There's a ton of open space inside, along with a smattering of cars inside you can practice your mechanical work on.
ОтветитьThat lot just reeks of unrealized potential.
ОтветитьI've found a few good spots so far. There is a little town with a pond/small lake near a church around the middle of the map that's not bad. Has a hardware and farming store with a bookstore on its small main street. I think its called 'rural town' on the map.
There is a reasonably large bus stop with a drive in cinema nearby it that can work well, its got its own gas station next door and a small pond for fish and water, and a big flat roof to work with, I think its near the bottom of ether rosewood or the place above.
Before getting to the huge barricade outside Louisville, there is a huge shopping mall with indoor cinema complex in its own area. Up from there is a small housing estate with a fenced off construction site and a couple of unfinished houses.
I'm currently walling off the whole area with log walls to make a fenced in compound area in hopes that the npc update will work with existing saves (lol, I know, probly not, but it gives me a goal) and going to set up areas for NPCs to move in like barrack's a school house a kitchen canteen and supplies store ect.
And, if you want that run down look, there is a whole gutted estate in the upper top left area (don't think it shows on the live pz map project tho) of the main map with a dozen or so wrecked houses. There's a single good home (or was, in case its a random spawn there) and a half built one with a fireplace if you want to do it yourself type home.
Rosewood's challenge comes with finding water as there are no rivers or lakes nearby
ОтветитьQuick, concise and straight to the point. Thumbs up!
ОтветитьThe Area is overrun with zeds in early and late game
Ответитьhell yeah
Ответить
