Interesting. I thought the parrying would have just been pushing to the side, but it’s actually pushing diagonally to parry and push them off to a bad stance at the same time
ОтветитьAnd so begins my training arc to destroy my cousin in our next battle
ОтветитьThis is so cool!
ОтветитьThank you! this is so cool and helpful.
ОтветитьShort and sweet. I like this video, it makes sense and isn't bogged down with unnecessary talking. 10/10 video.
ОтветитьDamn you Obi Wan!!!
ОтветитьOne thing i don't understand is why the hand in the front ? It is like asking for your hand to be cut off
ОтветитьSo third form is wushu? lmao 🤣
ОтветитьPeople a lot of the times think stances that begin with blade back are unrealistic because you need to keep your weapon between you and the enemy. But they forget that a Jedi has the force as a weapon... So this stance really makes the force the primary and the saber the secondary.
ОтветитьCan Soresu be modified for Dual Wielding?
ОтветитьJust try spinning. That's a good trick
ОтветитьI'm learning lightsaber combat because when we were younger, my cousin and I used to have lightsaber battles every day- I had no idea what I was doing, I was just having fun- he always won.
It's his 18th later this year. We haven't had a lightsaber battle in years.
I'm going to show up, in a jedi robe, with my lightsaber (he was always dark side, I was always light side)
And challenge him. He does professional Judo and he’s a big muscley guy, so I think my best bet is defensive 😂
I'm really excited. It's gonna be a LOT of commitment to the bit but it'll be worth it.
Obi Wan Kenobi’s form
ОтветитьI'm only confused by why does it start so open for a defensive style
ОтветитьHello there
Ответитьhello there!
ОтветитьHey can someone help me and comfirm if doing false edge cuts after block (ramming the blade up with the back of the blade) would be effective?
ОтветитьAwesome video. Can you tell me where I can buy the same "kimonos" ?
Ответитьwelp, I learnt it, imma be a jedi now
ОтветитьSomebody wake me when it's over....
Serious yawner here
thank you now i have the high ground! thank you so much
ОтветитьThis form is also recommended with the high ground attachment.
ОтветитьI love how im studying lightsaber techniques to help me in my vr lightsaber combat. Blade and Sorcery, here I come.
ОтветитьOh god
More?!
A
ОтветитьIf I’m a Jedi, I would want to fully, if not mostly, master Sorsu, Vaadun and Style Altering. But also use a form I created, called: Adlib
Adlib can be mastered in a matter of minutes… or months… Basically you let the force guide you, act on your instincts and feelings. If you feel drawn to do anything, follow it, follow the flow of the battle… and the flow of the force…
Who's here after the end of the Kenobi series
ОтветитьVery interesting
ОтветитьThis is a good go to form
ОтветитьWhat saber manufacturer is he using here?
Ответитьme learning this form to defend against my mom
ОтветитьJust like the japanese art
ОтветитьAm I one of the only people that searched for this
Ответитьthis will be perfect for vader immortal
ОтветитьWhere do i sing up ?
ОтветитьHello there!
Ответитьso if i want to learn this form without friends i just block in random directions?
ОтветитьSlashing downward seems like a tactical error; that would leave you defenseless for several seconds
ОтветитьAs a person who uses this style I must say its not the hardest but not the easiest
ОтветитьThanks, now I have the high ground
ОтветитьThis is a very useful tutorial. I may have to study this for reference in some of my own videos.
Ответить"A… defensive technique. But effective. Use it if you do not wish to be hit, or if you are facing many opponents with blasters. With a lightsaber blade and enough skill in deflection, it is an excellent offense against blasters, but in other situations, it merely delays the inevitable."
―Kreia
We need hema tournaments but for lightsabers
ОтветитьOpening form forgot the 'hello there 🤣
Definately my favourite lightsaber form id love to master it
I always found it strange that the "Defense form" opening stance is how you would set up for a thrust attack.
ОтветитьI have successfully removed my opponent’s limbs and am now writing this whilst riding a lizard creature. Great video as always!
ОтветитьI have trained in all 6 forms of lightsaber combat
ОтветитьBad form.....
