Brilliant review, Moto Hound. Please don't change your format. It was clear, concise and totally watchable.
ОтветитьThank you dear sir!
ОтветитьHi. where can i buy in USA?
ОтветитьI would think this would do well touring!? 200plys range lits of storage
ОтветитьI own a 2021 xmax 300. Great scooter and enjoyable ride. Unfortunately the engine broke down last week, when trying to start it up just after leaving from work. The dealer told me today that one of the camshaft lockbolts came loose. Valves are still ok but the camshaft is damaged and needs to be replaced by a new one. Yamaha warranty fortunately but still a pitty that it broke down. Only 13400 km's driven. Dealer told me mine is the 2nd xmax with this issue in their workshop. When the camshaft is replaced, they will apply loctite on the lockbolts.
After repeating problems with the engine, yamaha offered a new replacement engine. Good waranty by yamaha fortunately, hope problems are over now 🤞
Great review but I think your oil level is way too much
ОтветитьGreat review. Still trying to get my head around the idea of moving to a scooter, even a great one like this, after 40 years of motorcycling of all types, but the usability of big scooters is second to none, so I am interested.
ОтветитьYou list me with the music...
ОтветитьDo I need motorcycle permit for this
ОтветитьI was about to buy it but i went with honda forza 350. Both are great bikes though
ОтветитьWhy is the turn signal light sticking out
ОтветитьFantastic review, truly like your simple format, loud and clear.
I just sold my BMW GSA R1250 yesterday and after watching your review, I will go and buy one.

Excellent bike review and tutorial 👌.
ОтветитьGreat video, to the point, not showing “look at me” type of video, with time features, Perfect…CONGRATULATIONS.
ОтветитьGood review. I addressed some of the issues you mentioned. I put on YSS rear shocks and an Arrow muffler. The muffler made the ride better by reducing the unsprung weight. I changed my front blinkers to the Euro style for better looks. I changed out the levers to give me a little more leverage because braking requires a healthy squeeze. I still think the front forks are too stiff and really jolt you on bumps. I also had the seat contour changed to give me more room toward the back. I am 6’3”. I have 10k mileage on my bike with no issues. Very happy.
ОтветитьSuper helpful review, was interested in the Honda PCX but this being highway-capable is so much more compelling.
ОтветитьUpdate the reviews
Thanks.
I'm hoping the 2023 north American version is more like the European model, the tech max looks amazing
ОтветитьWhat is the manufacturing year of this
ОтветитьHey bro why old muricans hate maxxie sccot
ОтветитьAdjust the headlights . Easy to do , you can adjust them up and the spread also.
ОтветитьI owned 2021 Xmax 300 and for south east Asia heavy traffic it wasn’t as good as riding on US wide roads, again it was wonderful bike and probably I’d buy 2023 model it’s upgraded looks now if I’d have to go back to USA but for here I have now NMax V2 155cc. and loving it for these roads.
ОтветитьHow would you compare the XMax 300 to the Forza 300?🤔
Are they different classes of motorbikes?
I feel sorry for you in America who have such insanely ugly blinkers on the XMAX300! Anyone know why? The rest of the world has the prettier blinkers.
ОтветитьThe biggest con of this scooter is the lack of a flat floor. For that reason, the 2022 Sym Joyride 300 is the best Maxi scooter.
ОтветитьHow do you feel about it now if you still have it?
ОтветитьHi, Moto Hound and comment chat. Is this bike fully made and imported from Japan? Thank you 🇯🇵
ОтветитьI love the Honda ADV 150, but I’d like it to go 75MPH. I wish the Honda ADV 300 was available. This looks like a good alternative to that
ОтветитьI'd love a new one if I could find one. Nearest is 400 miles away. Looking at the BV400...a good 2k more though. The PCX and ADV 150 are briefly available, but underpowered. Hmm...
ОтветитьHave you compared it to the new XMax ?
ОтветитьDang bud..wish u didn't mention the seat unlock bypass!! That's all criminals need lol!
ОтветитьI just bought a new scooter a few months ago but I really like the Xmax. It will probably be my next purchase in a year or 2.
Ответитьmirrors are not cool. For 2023, the turn signals are incorporated into the ears. The ears need to be mirrors like on the forza 350, then Yamaha xmax would be the best looking bike ever. Get rid of the mopad mirrors from teh 70s.
ОтветитьThinking about taking my wild 150whp mt10 to my local dealer and trading in on one of these, seriously. I'm 62 and do insanely stupid 💩 on the mt. Triple digits almost ever time I go out, it's just pure jailbait!
ОтветитьAre these street legal in California? Highway?
ОтветитьGreat Review!
What is your opinion of the 2024 model changes?
How Tall are you? LG
ОтветитьI’d like to buy that pretty blue one in America with at least a 600cc engine ✅
Ответитьgood for 6' 3" rider?
ОтветитьI like the right hand drive.
ОтветитьWould you recommend this scooter for someone who is 300lbs?
Ответитьi’m 5’3 is this good for short riders 😂. I loved my 300 ninja so this would be a downgrade for me but i’m looking into it
ОтветитьGreat review, thank you. These are really popular here in Bangkok. They're a little bit big for lane splitting here, but I'm thinking this is my first buy when I come back to California. Are you in a state where you can lane split/filter?
ОтветитьI love bike
ОтветитьI might have to trade my Burgman in on this
ОтветитьThose turn signals are so heinous though
ОтветитьI recently bought a 2024 XMax 300. On the plus, the DOT finally allowed the European integrated turn signals, so no more tear drops sticking out. Bad news, it’s only available in a bland grey in the states, which still looks good, but damn I wish they still did that blue. The new model has a digital dash and some phone integration to go with it, but otherwise is very similar. I’m overall happy, especially since replacing the stock wind screen with a givi. The XMax 300 is just the “Goldilocks” bike. It’s just right. Nothing is blatantly lacking, while nothing is especially overkill.
ОтветитьCan you fit an AR under the seat (16" barrel w/o suppressor, stock collapsed)? How about a 1911 (5" barrel/Government Model) in the lockable dash?
