in the original version, instead of killing the old guy in the house a second time, you would just break out of the window and walk down a path to find a woman impaled on a pike cannibal holocaust/ vlad the impaler style, to wich the protagonist would say "well... seems as though they dont discriminate when it comes to killing"

i remember playing the original version of this on PS2 and i could not, for the life of me, get past that one stupid chainsaw section in the village where you had to fight off the villagers while simultaneously trying to escape that big dude with the bage over his head. he caught me like 50 times and i eventually sgave up playing the game. i was a kid back then so i did not have the smarts or the balls to keep trying like i do now. game was peak
